Welcome everyone to the regular meeting for the Minneapolis Planning Commission for June 8th. My name is Chris Meyer, chair of the commission, and I'll ask the clerk to please call the roll.

Commissioner Baxley is absent. Chowdhury is absent. Conley absent. Garcia? Present. Gordon?

There are six members present.

We have a quorum. First, we'll go to the minutes for May 18th, 2026. Is there a motion to adopt those minutes?

I move to adopt the minutes of May 18th, 2026. Is there a second?

Opposed? Abstentions? The minutes are adopted. Next, we will organize our agenda. And we have two items that don't have any public hearing. So item four and five won't have any hearing. And then for the next four items, I'm going to read through each of them and ask if anyone was here to speak against the staff recommendation on them. If you were here to speak in support or to make neutral comments, you'll have an opportunity to do that later when we have the consent agenda hearing. But for now, we're just looking for people who are against the staff recommendation. The staff are recommending all items to be on consent. So first for item number six, 523 2nd Avenue South. Was anyone here to speak against the staff recommendation for item number six? All right, so we'll keep that on consent. Number seven, 1942nd Avenue North. Was anyone here to speak against the staff recommendation? All right, keep that on consent. Item number eight, adjacent to the block connecting Bryant Avenue South to Aldrich Avenue South. Anyone here to speak against item number eight? All right, we'll keep that on consent. And then item number nine, we are going to be continuing to the next cycle, which will be June 22nd. So to review, items four and five have no hearing. Items six, seven, and eight will be on our consent. And item nine will be continued. Is there a motion to adopt that agenda?

We're going to be hearing that at the next meeting, but if you came here today and wanted to speak to it, you can. Did anyone want to speak to item number nine?
