Thank you, sir. Um, and then just a few other things. Um, I did send a email out to the board today um for what will hopefully be our final change order for the uh grant and remodeling that we're doing down in the old uh police department. Um, that change order is for $1,85. We just wanted to be transparent and let everybody else know that that is one of the change orders we have. Um, also, um, I just wanted to tell everybody we have officially set the date for the community policing and safety committee trivia night. It will be Friday, February 27th, 2026 at the BFW. Again, those uh, the form is online to fill out and you can also pay online. So, we look forward to having a lot of teams there and having a lot of fun with our trivia caller and great prizes and great raffles. That's all I have this evening. Uh we'll move on to department heads. Chief Freedom.

2:40 – 4:300

Thank you. Just a [clears throat] couple things. Um I want to say uh congratulations to the [snorts] three probationary candidates that uh officially got off probation January 8th. We posted it on Facebook and um a lot of people um joined in on celebrating that with them. So we're proud of them moving forward. Uh I also have a a brief outstanding performance and call review that was sent [clears throat] to me. This is very long overdue email but I felt it was necessary to say a few months ago I had a contact with the fire department due to a medical emergency my husband was experiencing. As an older woman I take care of my husband who was disabled. This particular day when I contacted the fire department, I was overwhelmed, worried about my husband and his worsening dementia. very pretty young lady at your fire department showed up and provided the uttermost care. She went above and beyond the expectation of helping me find resources on how to find care for my husband who has dementia and even [clears throat] I'm sorry expressed to me how she cares for her grandmother who also has dementia. She gave me food plans, resources, and uh I can contact to help me which I have used and have helped greatly. I wanted to say that she went out of her way to insist on helping me and she did not have to and most importantly she cares. I think it's important for you to know that you have a great young lady working for your department. So, thank you for all that you guys continue to do. So, I want to say thank you to Janine. Um, and she was one of the three probationary candidates that just got off probation. So, she's already making an impact on the residents in our town. And um not only did I hang that up for all the guys to see a good example, um I just wanted to give her a shout out to all you guys. SO [applause]

4:33 – 5:050

um the only other thing I have is um the soul leasing uh program is continuing to have some questions attached to it. So that's going to be um delayed more until we can find out some more information. That's all I have tonight. Thank you, sir. Chief Delaney. Uh nothing this evening, ma'am. Thank you, sir. Agent Superintendent, sir. Uh nothing this evening, ma'am. Thank you, sir. Superintendent Swanson. Nothing this evening, ma'am. Thank you, sir. Engineer Plat.

5:03 – 5:510

Uh thank you, ma'am. I just have one quick update. Um, I think most people that have driven past uh the building that the village purchased on 147th Street know that the demolition has started. Um, things are proceeding well. Um, we had a few hiccups at the beginning of the project, but I would say for the most part it's been pretty smooth sailing. Uh, all this week they've mostly just been working on clearing out the site because the building is gone now and it's just mostly debris. Um, I think it should be wrapped up by the end of next week. We're going to be putting down temporary gravel where the building used to be um until we can figure out a permanent solution to the property and uh that'll be all.

5:48 – 6:330

Thank you, sir. Um and great job. Um we're, you know, I know this was a lot of work and we really appreciate all the effort you put into it. No problem. It's been a blast. Deputy Harris. Finance director. Nothing. Thank you. Under the president's business, I'm looking for a motion for the approval of the agreement between the village of Midlotheian and the Midlotheian Professional Firefighters Association, local number 3148 for the years of 2025 through 2028. I'll make the motion. I'll second. Any discussion? Roll call, please. Trusty Hilly, I. Trusty Johnson, I. Trusty Burbette, I. Trusty Cwley,
