Like this. So, besides central air, we had window units. Gee, this meter was spinning. But it was cold. We were used to working in 50 degree weather. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What did not handle the weather? I get that.
I understand that 100%. I don't like either. I understand that. I'm trying to verify it on the website. My first neighbor there, my daughter and son-in-law, said, let's go to the zoo. All right. The zoo's built into the mountain. There's no lights on. There's a tram that will take us to the top with our skis. And we'll get off and we'll walk down. That way you don't have to walk up to hell. Thank you, but I'm scared of heights. It's definitely scary. When you take that tram up to the top and everybody figures you're dumb. My wife's taking pictures and posting them on the internet. My granddaughter's saying, Grandpa's scared. We get to the top. I said, all right, good. Where's the path that goes down? There isn't one. This is just up to the top of the view. You gotta ride it back down. I'm sure it worked. I don't know. That's his line. Verify on that. So not all the animals were inside in shape. We only saw the elephants and the giraffes. That's about all we saw. Everybody else we didn't.
How many trials you got scheduled this month?
There's some next week and then it's the following week because Another one. And then I don't think we have anything else for the rest of the month.
I see it on the iPad. I can see it on the web monitor too. Oh, there we go. All right.
Live? Live. OK.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Okay, Derek, take over.
Okay. Last Monday, we got a signed 28-D agreement from City of Hiawatha regarding our EMS trust fund. We had a provision in our policy that allows to pay out-of-town services to help fill in the gaps where needed. see how i walk the three three tour terms and they have a signed agreement um with us and i mean everything looks like it's in order so if you guys don't have any questions uh i think it's good to sign i have none okay i have no questions i'll make a motion to uh
I'll second that motion. How long is the agreement for? Three years. Perfect.
Okay. Call for a vote.
Tippett, aye.
Sieman, aye. THANK YOU. All right. Acknowledge the resignation of Terry Enlinger from part-time custodian at the sheriff's office. You guys got a copy of that?
Yep.
I would move to acknowledge the resignation of Terry from part-time at the sheriff's office and thank him for his
You got it? You got it.
Okay. Discuss and approve Class C alcohol license renewal for Casinas Farms. Is it yearly? Yes.
Is it for a whole year, or has it just been a year?
I'm sure it's for a whole year, but Ron... Executive date, 7th of August of 26, length of license requested.
Thank you. I think there's an order now, isn't there?
Yep.
Okay, can I get a motion? I will make the motion to approve the Class C alcohol license renewal for Casino Farms. I would second that motion.
Okay, call for a vote. Tippett, aye. Stephen, aye. Bowles, aye.
I don't know what I've been doing with the booth. Just signing the data.
Okay. That's all that has to be done? Yep.
That's it. Okay. Okay. Reports.
Friday, I had Central Iowa detention meeting. They voted and approved on a 2080 agreement. And they voted and approved the bylaws, giving everybody a copy. And they've got an attorney working on drawing up if so desired, and Derek's going to go over it all and give us his legal opinion. Okay. He's got a bunch of trials coming up.
I was out of time.
I had nothing. Tuesday night last week, I had an EMS meeting. I guess there will be some things coming to the board here later on, if they ask. So we'll just kind of wait until that comes to the board. Wednesday I had a Zoom meeting over the EZCOG Policy Committee. That kind of pertained to the money that they get from the DOT for the buses.
Yeah, I got it.
You want to take it home? Yes. You're more than welcome to. Yes, thank you. Read it at a later date.
We'll do that.
Okay. And then Thursday, I actually had the official EZCOG meeting with everybody. Why? The gal that we got hired to run EZCOG was on vacation. so it was a really short meeting for once then they also had during towards the end of the meeting maybe that's kind of why it got cut short for some reason the electricity went off about i don't know 30 45 seconds come back on you know and it was not well attended in person because there wasn't much on the agenda so everybody was on zoom Yeah, so by the time it took, you know, I've got seven, eight minutes for them to get the Zoom back on. Not a soul was waiting. Oh, they were done. My phone, I was getting texts from different people, you know, like, hey, Zoom quit. You know, what's going on? We're done. So that could have been some of it while it was a short meeting.
Yeah, that makes sense.
That was freaky. And that was about it. Okay, I don't think we've got any unfinished business. And how about any new business? I don't think we've got any new business, do we? I have none. I'll make a motion to adjourn. Okay. I'll second that. Call for a vote.
Tip it. Aye.
Stephen, aye. Olds, aye.
I love it.
