1:50Speaker 8

I give a motion.

1:51Speaker 9

Do I have a second?

1:53 – 2:27Speaker 9

Motion's been made and seconded. All in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. All opposed, no. Eyes have it. Minutes have been approved. No business to attend to. According to our agenda, we'll move on to new business. The first issue is the Davis Edition final plat with Lemons Engineering. If someone from Lemons Engineering is here to speak. Okay. We will...

2:28 – 3:00Speaker 7

move that aside for right now move on to our next issue issue the windsor park edition phase two final plat bond engineering someone speak for that yes wendell gibson part owner of windsor park development mr bond or aaron couldn't be here tonight so okay we're here to answer any questions that you may have on the project it will be 183 lots total overall over all the phases so But right now we've got 55 lots ready.

3:04Speaker 6

Have you sold those lots yet? No, sir.

3:06Speaker 8

Can you ask Art to use his mic?

3:12Speaker 9

Use your mic, Art, when you have a question.

3:16Speaker 6

Same question, same answer. No, sir. We have not sold the lots. No, thank you. Thank you.

3:23Speaker 7

Okay. Sorry about that.

3:29Speaker 9

No problem. I heard you. Do we have any comment from staff?

3:40 – 4:38Speaker 4

Everything's good. We checked the as-builds and the gravity sewer was pressure tested and passed, but it looked like there might have been a touch of water in there. so just for safe measure uh tomorrow wendell's gonna get the equipment we're just gonna recheck it one more time not a contingency or anything like that but we're just gonna double check make sure all that's good and on the storm water um still have to do something with that control structure yeah i know so i think aaron originally engineered it and i think that they couldn't do the original we had pipes but now we're going with the weir box which is a concrete structure so no big issue there so it's pretty pretty small pretty small deal so i just wanted to state it but um nothing no contingencies or nothing like that on any as builds and whatnot so okay thank you any any questions yes sir uh is that gonna hinder

4:39Speaker 8

the project any in any way waiting on that? No. Or is it okay for us to?

4:43Speaker 4

Yeah, it's perfectly fine.

4:45 – 4:57Speaker 4

I mean, it's all operational. It's just to basically control the exit of that small detention basin that they have there. So it's no big issue.

4:58Speaker 4

Not at all.

5:02 – 5:45Speaker 9

All right. Any discussion among commission members? Hearing none, I'm open for a motion. Okay, I have a motion for accepting the final plot for Windsor Park addition phase two. Do I have a second? Second. Motion's been made and seconded. All in favor signify by saying aye. Aye. All opposed, no. Ayes have it. Okay, motion approved. Okay, next issue, Davis edition, the final plait, Lemons Engineering.

5:47Speaker 5

Second time, right?

5:48Speaker 9

All right, second time's the charm.

5:50Speaker 5

Yeah, get this for me.

5:53Speaker 9

I apologize. You're fine, go ahead.

5:55 – 6:58Speaker 5

I just pulled in from northwest Arkansas, timing up to run by the house and get this and run up here. State Police did come up behind me once with their lights on, but I went, oh, no, and I pulled in the right-hand lane, and they just took off. I went, sorry for the guy upstream. Here we go, you know, so I didn't get a ticket. Anyway, final plat Davis edition. This is just like what we had submitted for the preliminary plat with the exception of we have renumbered the lots because if you remember up there close to the intersection, we had a triangular shaped lot originally. We took that out. We're having a hard time getting a footprint to work on that lot, on what they're wanting to build. So we just took it out of the subdivision. But the rest of it is the same as what we had submitted. And I think all the aspects have been turned in, all the comments have been addressed. Be glad to answer any questions you may have. Any questions?

6:58Speaker 9

All right, I don't hear any. Thank you very much. Thank you. Here, let's have a commentary from staff.

7:08 – 7:31Speaker 4

what do you what do you have to tell us bruce we've reviewed everything that has built looked at everything and um everything looks great so no issues whatsoever all right any questions okay any discussion amongst the commission okay hearing none i'm open for a motion

7:36 – 8:07Speaker 9

I'll place a motion. Okay, motion's been made to accept the final plot for Davis addition. Do I hear a second? Second. Motion been made and seconded. All in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. All opposed, no. Ayes have it. Thank you. Final plot has been approved. Okay, next on the agenda, the mayor will discuss the 40 acres. New purchase. The floor is yours, sir.

8:07Speaker 1

I didn't realize I was on the agenda, but that's okay. I probably said something. Yes, ma'am. Very good. I forget sometimes what I tell people.

8:16Speaker 6

But anyway.

8:17 – 9:10Speaker 1

No. But anyway. The 40 acres we did purchase from the Spencer Trust. We've got it. We've done all the paperwork, and it's all filed and everything like that. So it's our purchase. We are working with Metro Plan. Metro Plan is going to work with us about developing a public input plan campaign on this. What we want to do is get the public's input on what they want to see in this particular 40 acres next to the park and then go from there. And during that same process, we'll develop a master park plan out of it. So that will help us in the long run. But it also just gives the public, I mean, we've got the 40 acres, we've got some ideas we want to do, but we want the public's input to see what they want to do with it. We don't have to do anything right now. We're not going to clear cut it or anything like that. Leave it as is until we get through this process. So that's all I have right now.

9:12Speaker 3

Mayor, I do have a question. Is this 40 acres going to be intended totally for park, or that might change in the future?

9:19 – 10:03Speaker 1

It may change. And it's part of the process on the input from our citizens and what they desire. There's been discussion about food truck court. There's been discussion about a pavilion area for concerts and things like that. We do our Fourth of July down that area. We have a makeshift... um stage for a band we made put a bit a bit more permanent man uh pavilion of sorts but uh yeah all kinds of we're open for anything thank you mayor mayor what uh what did you pay for that four hundred thousand dollars anybody on the city council uh gained from that sure she did but she also had abstained from voting and for discussion part of the trust

10:08Speaker 9

All right. Any other questions?

10:10Speaker 1

I say she did. I don't know if she did or not personally. I mean, it's part of the trust, so I don't know if she got part of it or not.

10:20 – 11:12Speaker 9

All right. Thank you very much for that update. Okay. announcements june the 16th we'll have our city council meeting at 6 30. june 19th city offices will be closed in the observation of juneteenth june 21st is father's day and june 22nd will be our next planning commission meeting any other thoughts concerns from the commission that would like to you'd like to bring up okay If none, I'm open for a motion to adjourn.
