Request for a Coastal Development Permit and Major Design Review to allow for improvements within the Main Street Moves (MSM) Project Area (Project). The Project includes installation of pedestrian safety devices (crash-rated bollards and planters) to facilitate closure of streets within the MSM Project Area to vehicle traffic and to accommodate future construction of parklets. The Project site is located within the Urban Core (T6.1) Zone of the Downtown Specific Plan. Recommendation: Approve, as conditioned.
