There we go. Can you see my screen? Yeah. Okay. Yes. Here is the agenda before us. Unless there's any changes to the agenda, please state those in a motion to approve the agenda as well. All right. If no changes, take a motion to approve the agenda.
Make a motion that we approve the agenda.
I second that motion. Thank you. It's been properly moved and second to approve the agenda as printed. All those in favor, please respond with yay. All those not with nay. Yay. Yay for the chair as well. Thank you all so much. I haven't received any public comment from the city clerk and I do not see anyone Is there anyone waiting in the waiting room? Okay. All right. So it sounds like we don't have any public comment this evening. So we'll go right into our agenda items before we go into executive session. In the meeting invite, you had the minutes from our last meeting. Hopefully we had an opportunity to glance over them. They're on the screen for you as well. As usual, most of which is executive session. But if you see any changes or edits to the minutes, please state those. And then otherwise, I'll take a motion to approve the minutes.
Make a motion that we approve the minutes. Second. Make a motion that we approve the minutes. I second.
I think I heard Al second.
Excuse me. I don't know if I can say this or not, but I was looking earlier on that and it says motion did not pass. Joyce Walker was disconnected and there were not enough members present to vote. This item will be postponed to the next meeting. I don't know if that has anything to do with...
Well, we will do those minutes again. These are the that motion is particularly for the executive session minutes so we can approve the general minutes from the meeting. And then when we approve the executive session minutes from this meeting, we'll also approve the executive session minutes from the last meeting. OK, perfect. Thank you. You're welcome. I did hear a motion from Andrew.
I did notice one item. Okay. On the minutes they have my last name spelled incorrectly.
Oh yeah, your Chamberlain.
Yeah, C-H-A-M-B-L-I-N. Yep, I see that.
I'm glad you got it. It's Chamberlain everywhere, actually. Is it Chamberlain up here? Is it wrong up here? No, it's right up there. It's right in the... Yeah, it's right there. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. That's funny. And I looked at them three times. Thank you, Andrew. So if you will make another motion to approve the minutes with the stated changes of spelling your last name correctly, then we'll take a second motion to approve.
Okay. I make a motion that we approve the minutes with the correction of the spelling of my last name. I second that motion.
Just give me a second. Thank you. It's been properly moved and seconded to approve the minutes from our March 25th Development Authority meeting with the changes to the misspelling of Andrew Shamblin's last name. All those in favor, please respond with yay. All those not with nay. Yay. Yay. Yay for chair as well. Thank you so much. We'll make sure, Andrew, that we get that changed before we post the minutes to the website. All right, the next item is training. Lance, you want to go over training?
Yes, ma'am. So I sent information out about training that's coming up pretty quick. The reason why we had a delay in getting some information to the board was because Jennifer Nelson, who normally would handle this stuff for the CAR, that's called Carl Vinson Institute. Had taken another job and they did not have a replacement. So, I was not getting a lot of information. So, when I finally was able to get some information. It appears that this particular training is coming up next week, which I think is be. Pretty quick for us, so what I've been asked to do, I think Joyce. Made the suggestion is that, but we, what I'll do is I reached back out to the new person is taking over from Jennifer to find out. What other training courses qualify for continuing training for members? And hopefully we can find something that's online, and then I will get back with you on those training courses, those training course options, so that we can make sure we get your two hours in of required training to remain as an authority member. So again, just something that happened, losing that director and not being able to get the information. I'll get that information to you as quick as I can and get everyone signed up for the training. And then you can continue on as being a 30 board member and be in compliance with the rules of the. Carpenter Institute, so that's it.
A suggestion if she's new in the position, you may want to pose the question that. Do they still offer the availability of doing it online? Because she may not know if she's new. That's how I took mine last time, and I know they offered it, but sometimes you have to give a gentle nudge to get people to really look.
I do that, Mr. Chamberlain. I asked you about that option. I think that works best for everyone. So once I get the answers back to those questions, I respond back. And that's all I have on that. Okay.
Sounds good. The only other item. On the agenda is our favorite executive session. So we will take a motion to go into executive session. We will, you'll see on the screen, you'll, if you, after we pass the motion, if you'll mute, we'll have Jamez send us to our breakout rooms and then we'll go over there and have our real estate talk and then we'll come back. Okay. So we'll take a motion to go into executive session for real estate.

You may have to click it or it may put you there automatically, but hold tight while we get into the breakout room. Lena, we're getting ready to go into the executive session in the breakout room. So just look out for that little icon that should send you over.
