Good afternoon. Thanks for attending our special administrative permit hearing on today, March the 17th at 3:30 p.m. I would like to first start off with giving you the purpose and intent of this meeting. Uh it was initiated by the state of Georgia as of July the 1st, 2023. A public hearing is required for all special administrative permits for type one home occupation. A home occupation where no customer contact occur occurs. Sorry. This meeting occurs every third Tuesday of each month. So meeting decorum. Please be respectful to applicants, citizens, and staff. keep questions, comments, and our concerns relevant to the agenda items. Uh 10 minutes will be allocated for each side in opposition or in support to make uh comments. On this slide is our type one home occupation rules of operations. Um I'll skip down to C. All home occupation shall meet the following standards. There shall be no exterior evidence or of the home occupation. No use shall create noise, dust, vibration, odor, smoke, glare, or electrical interference that would be detectable beyond the dwelling unit. The use shall be conducted entirely within the dwelling unit, and only persons living in the dwelling unit shall be employed at the location of the home occupation. No more than 25% of the dwelling unit and or 500 square f feet, whichever is less, may be used for the operation of the home occupation. No more than one business vehicle per occupation is allowed. No home occupation shall be operated as to create a cause or a nuisance. Home occupations shall not include the use of a dwelling unit for the purpose of operating any automobile repair

establishment or car wash. Occupations that are mobile or dispatch only may be allowed provided that any business vehicles used for the home occupation complies with the section 6.1.3 and is limited to one business vehicle per occupation. The petitioner is seeking a special administrative administrative permit to operate as a type one home occupation for the administrative office use of an onsite photography business. Uh my wife and I are agricultural consultants. Uh we go to nurseries and check out their uh strategies for uh running their operation to the best of their abilities. Um we take some samples but we don't even take them to our house. We send them out uh day day of to get those taken care of. So nobody will be coming to our house for any purposes. We just uh we just will be using the office space there.

Um really we're just here for information. We're here for information because we weren't really sure as to what will be taking place. Our first concern was for safety. You know, we we weren't sure if there will be like activity going in and out cuz we're right next door to, you know, um we've never had any problems, you know, as as neighbors. So that's really not a concern, but we weren't aware as to what the business entails if we'll have like constant activities going back and forth. You know, as I said, safety is of concern to us.
