Yes, so it's a small grocery store, and then we, last year, two years ago, we expanded a restaurant into it. So we're trying to get a liquor license to serve on premises.

That's kind of the game plan. And it's at the... Yeah, Salem and... End of that, I'll call it an L or whatever you want to call it. Right, yeah. So, yeah. So, yeah, we serve Mexican food, and we specialize in Mexican products.

Right, okay. Questions, comments from the board? No. Okay. Um, then you'll need to go, uh, to the liquor commissioner's office, which is on the fourth floor. It's also the mayor's office. Uh, get the appropriate paperwork, uh, complete that. There's a background check, uh, payment of fees. And then once all that's done, it's, it's approved. Uh, you may not actually have to visit. You may be able to just do that all online.

All right. Thank you. All right. Next item is, um, Request from Miss Jessica Fisher Comstock for one Class S liquor license for Casey's located at 780 East Schaumburg Road, new license. So, soon to be Casey's.

So we've actually owned the property for a while now. We just did the one at 1601 East Algonquin Road as well. It's the same layout as 1601, same hours, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. We have scanner, scan IDs at the registers. Everybody's Bassett trained. So pretty much the same way out as we carry out through all of our stores.

Okay, for the board, just the board's aware, Casey's is a gas station. Okay, just so you're aware. So this is a class S liquor license, which is beer and wine. Okay. And it's new. It's being built from ground up. So, um, questions, comments from the board. Do you have pizza?

We actually, we have full working restaurants. We make our pizza from scratch, our dough from scratch. It's not gas station pizza. Pretty good.

Okay, so same as I mentioned to the previous petitioner is to Go to a liquor commissioners office, which is also the mayor's office fourth floor Pick up whatever paperwork is necessary Pay the fee background check etc. And once all that's done and complete and good then a license will be issued But you got time for that. Number eight, liquor license requests, one day liquor license requests. A, the motion would be to approve the request for Mr. William Solomon of St. Gregory of Nyssa Parish for one Class D one day liquor license for the bingo event on September 27th, 2026 at their campus located at 822 Spring and Spruce Road and waive the fee. B, the motion would be to approve the request from Mr. Shashin Vyas of Global Brew Taphouse for one Class D one-day liquor license for Schaumburg Oktoberfest on October 3rd at Meineke Park located at 220 East Weathersfield Way and waive the fee. Nine, correspondence. A, the motion would be to approve the request from Schaumburg AM Rotary Club Foundation to hold raffles on October 10th, 2026 at 201 Schaumburg Court and to approve the variance to chapter 117.31 of the Schaumburg Municipal Code since the ticket price is greater than $5 and to waive the fidelity bond requirement.

A, the motion would be to authorize the village manager to execute a master license agreement with Ripple Fiber Illinois, LLC of Charlotte. AND APPROVE THE REQUIRED RESOLUTION. B, THE MOTION WOULD BE TO AUTHORIZE THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE A MASTER LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH LUMOS VIBER OF ILLINOIS, LLC OF HIGH POINT, NORTH CAROLINA, AND APPROVE THE REQUIRED RESOLUTION. 12, PROJECT REVIEW GROUP A, THE MOTION WOULD BE TO APPROVE A SITE PLAN APPROVAL AND WOODFIELD REGIONAL CENTER DESIGN REVIEW FOR CROW HOLDINGS INDUSTRIAL, 1700 PENNY LANE. 13, resolutions. A, the motion would be to adopt as resolution number R-26-063, approving a master right-of-way use license agreement between the Village of Schaumburg and Ripple Fiber Illinois LLC for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the fiber optic network within the public rights-of-way. The motion would be to adopt as resolution number R-26-064, approving a master right-of-way use license agreement between the Village of Schaumburg and Lumos Fiber of Illinois LLC for the installation, operation, and maintenance of a fiber optic network within the public rights-of-way. 14 ordinances a the motion would be to adopt as ordinance number 26-064 granting a site plan approval and woodfield regional design review for crow holdings industrial 1700 penny lane this concludes the consent agenda thank you would uh look for a motion to approve

First one, and you were all there yourself, Septemberfest, of course, turned out to be a wonderful time, great weekend. The rides, the food, there was a greater variety of food this year. So that was really nice to have. The grounds, again, this year was tough for the Septemberfest staff to deal with and everyone else, but we all made it through. Next year will be better. The construction of the new village hall will be complete, and they'll have some good paved parking areas in which to work from, but definitely – to Rich and his whole Septemberfest team. Thank you very much for doing such a great job. The other item I have is I have a One of these fake mega checks that I got, I went to Congressman Roger Christian Worthy, gave the village a grant for $1,152,000 for, excuse me, improvements at Hammond and Algonquin to help improve that intersection with the businesses, the trucks, and just the volume of traffic that comes through that intersection. And so he's provided a very nice grant to us. Can I give this to you? Don't spend it all on one thing. Okay. We'll figure out what to do with it. But anyway, it was a nice gesture to receive this grant from Congressman Christian Worthy on this property, this intersection. And that's all I have for now. Oh, I guess one last quick thing. Boomers, I guess, made the... Play up so they have two home games coming up next Friday not this coming Friday, but the 11th and the 12th I think it is it is Okay this Labor Day threw me off So there this Friday and Saturday, so if you get an opportunity you want to go watch a good game by all means so That's all I have Village manager

I just have three items. First, I want to echo and magnify President Daley's comments about Septemberfest over the weekend. Obviously, weather is always the determining factor in terms of success and how happy people are. We do have a lot of employees who work very hard to execute this event. And Tiana Weiler from Cultural Services obviously provides a lot of leadership in terms of wrangling other departments and wrangling our volunteers and committee members to make sure that this event comes off well. I learned this afternoon that this is Roxanne's 30th September Fest that she's done. So it's amazing that she's been doing it for that long. And I know I've said to a number of staff internally that the September Fest committee is just invaluable in terms of what they do. I don't know. I don't know many people who would give up a holiday weekend to spend three or four days putting on an event like this for the community. So it clearly shows their dedication and their commitment to making Schaumburg a great place. So congratulations to all of you and thank you very much for your efforts in that regard. Second, we do have the Village's Patriot's Day ceremony coming up this Friday morning. I know Chief Pacini and his staff have been working on a few special touches for the 25th anniversary of Patriot's Day, so hope to see all of you there for that. 8.30 on Friday morning over at the Public Safety Complex on Schaumburg Road. And then we follow that up Saturday with a busy day. We have the Firefighter Softball Tournament, which they hold to benefit a number of charities, both locally and the region. That's always a good time. Watch some good softball and enjoy some good food and beverages and raffles and other things. So we'll be there for that and hope to see all of you there. And then Saturday night, we have our Hops and Props event. I know Sid and his team have been working hard to make sure we even have a bigger and better Hops and Props event this year. So hopefully everybody can make it out for that as well. And that concludes my report.

Chief, what time do the softball games kick off?

First game kicks off at 9. We think our first game is at 10 o'clock.

Yeah, I'd like to also concur and add to congratulations to all the staff members that were involved with this past weekend. I think it was one of the best weekends we've had in a long time, especially with, you know, Organizing it with the construction going on and all that everything just worked out well And of course you know we always say that the mayor is responsible for the weather and he did a great job this year, too And I was surprised I I don't know what we did But there were no mosquitoes this year no mosquitoes or bee complaints or anything like that that was amazing So I just want to thank everybody that was involved And just to let you know, I was on that committee for many years, so even the committee thanked them because it is a lot of hard work, not just the weekend, but all year they plan it. So it's great involvement and dedication. Thank you.

I just wanted to say kind of the same thing on Septemberfest and also to give shout out to Chief Wolf, Chief Pacini for the public safety team keeping the event safe and secure and taking care of all those that needed some special medical needs. I was there Sunday most of the day and Next to the the tent with the with the firefighters the paramedics and they were busy. They were busy people all day So I think the the heat took toll on some people and I think there was some trip and falls to so But great job to those and Mike Hall the your team the public works team keeping everything clean and setting up and tearing down and doing all that stuff. So you guys all do a spectacular job every year and just want to say thank you very much for all of your hard work and all of your team's hard work.
