Good morning, everyone. The special board meeting is called to order. Time is 9.01. Please join me for a silent prayer. A moment of silence. And Supervisor Kanpa just told me that there was an accident in San Francisco and two people were from Stockton. The whole boat was from Stockton. Oh my goodness. Please keep them in your prayers. Thank you, Michelle. Now is the time for public comment on the item listed on special meeting. Members of the public attending in person who wish to speak are requested to complete a speaker card and provide it to the clerk. If you are participating remotely and wish to speak during public comment, Please raise your hand now by pressing star five. We will hear comments from attending in person first. I will call speakers by name as listed on their speaker order. Once all in-person speakers have been heard, the clerk of the board will call on remote participants either by name or by the last fourth digit of the telephone number displayed. I just want to commend the HR staff and all the folks that work for the county, men and women, from SEIU for getting across the finish line and allowing us to be here today. And I think it's important that SEIU has been vocal about Juneteenth and we were finally able to do something. So I'm pretty proud of that. So thank you for your hard work and diligence. Anybody else?

OK. Anybody from public? Any comments, Supervisor Rickman? I also want to thank SEIU and our staff for working diligently. Negotiations are always tough, but thank you, HR, for getting it done. I just want to say thank you to all the players who are getting this contract, this MOU done. Retention and recruitment is a challenge for all municipalities, and I think this is a step forward to making sure that we're able to retain our employees and recruit valuable employees for the future. So I just want to say thank you for all the people that worked hard on this.

Chairman, I'll just, if you don't mind, I'll opine. Same as Supervisor Gurdia, you know, hey, staff, you know, thank you guys all very much for your hard work. And, you know, to our employees, hey, you know, you're the boots on the ground to get the job done. So I'm glad we're here today, and God bless you. Thank you, sir.
