City Commission - Special Meeting

Okay, it is 9 o'clock. I will call this line of city commission special meeting to order. I will look to staff for confirmation the Kansas Open Meeting Act required notice has been properly provided.

Here. OK. We have two of our commissioners zooming in for those that couldn't tell. OK. Will those who are able please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence. Thank you. OK, we have an executive session scheduled for today. And I believe let's start with, after a quick discussion with city manager, 60 minutes. Unless somebody thinks that's anymore.

The discussion with the city managers before the executive session?

No, I just asked him the time frame. Oh, OK. So we kind of thought we'd start with an hour.

OK. I move the city commission recess into executive session for 60 minutes to discuss with special legal counsel the subject of legal considerations relating to the Cozy Inn v. City of Salina case based upon the need for consultation with an attorney for the public body. which would be deemed privileged in the attorney-client relationship pursuant to KSA 75-4319-B2. The open meeting will resume in this room at 10.02 a.m. Okay, I got a motion.
