Oh, good. I don't know if this is for Director Sanders or Mr. Kignoni, but I still see construction going on at Davis Park. Just wanted to get an update on where we are in that process. And should we approve this today and construction is still going on, what are the accommodations that will be taking place?

1:46 – 3:22Speaker 1

Thank you very much. I'd be happy to address that. Thank you, Alderman Bell. So construction on Davis Park is being completed throughout this calendar year in stages. Already we've essentially opened. The far south end, which is the skate park, we've completed construction and pulled back that construction fencing. The site work will be largely completed and the construction fencing pulled back away to coordinate with this rock yard event on August 14th and 15th. The buildings themselves, the stage building and the restroom and concession building, those are still on a, they will follow beyond that timeframe and they will be completed end of September, early October. So again, before Rockyard starts, they will reset the construction fencing to a smaller footprint and there'll still be portions of the site under construction. however, we're confident that the you know, we've been putting a full court press on all of the seed prep and fertilizing and overseeding and have the pavement done in preparation for Holding this ceremony of this festival working with go Rockford and other event planners to make sure that all the the tents the portable stage restrooms sound systems can all be accommodated for this event and So the park, the short version of that long answer is the park is being completed and sort of unveiled in phases throughout the year with the stages being done almost at the end of September, early October, fully open for full usage next year.
