Park and Recreation Commission - Regular Meeting

Good afternoon. We'd like to welcome you to the Museum of Riverside board meeting. This meeting is called to order today, July 8th. Oh, I'm sorry. July 9, 2026. Anne, could you please call roll? Or Tony?

The meeting started at 1.04 p.m. We're going to go ahead and play the video for the agenda, and then I'll call roll.

Pursuant to the City Council rules of procedure and order of business resolution, the members of all Boards and Commissions and the public are reminded that they must preserve order and decorum throughout the meeting. In that regard, members of the Boards and Commissions and the public are advised that any delay or disruption in the proceedings or a refusal to obey the orders of the Board or Commission or the Presiding Officer constitutes a violation of these rules. okay well we're going to the consent calendar let's move forward for public comment we do not have any e-comments received by the 11 o'clock deadline we do not have any in-person speaker cards and we currently do not have um any callers i believe as well thank you tony

Well, we will go now to the consent calendar. We have to approve the minutes of April 22nd, 2026, minutes of May 27, minutes of June 24. And we have a record. record museum of riverside board shadow tonel absent as excuse for the april 27 22 2026 regular meeting i move that we accept items number two through five in one motion and i'll second it all in favor tony o'clock

OK we're moving to item number 6 and the to recommend the station from the permanent collection of 44 objects, including 33 Post Hertz A459-1 and 11 baskets A8-94, A8-105, A8-106, A8-107, A8-108, A8-113, A8-126, A2, A4-1, 8284-3, and P90-1 associated with the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.

I move. I move that the Board recommend deaccession from the permanent collection of these items.

yes i would just like to apologize collectively for the delay um on this item that uh should have happened on our last meeting so um just want to say that we recognize the importance of this and um or i i certainly do i shouldn't speak for everyone um and just want to say that i'm glad we're doing this now thank you thank you very much
