Raise it to 80 on the highway. The gas prices way too high. Got to bring them down. Now, the internet prices for what we're getting, we're paying too much. It's horrible service. Uh yeah, Savannah Venegas and Misha Escobar. Good morning, T mayor and council. The Parker Public Library respectfully requests the mayor and council's approval to approve the special event application for the slide into your next chapter. A little bit of background on this event. After talking to local 2026 seniors, we came to the conclusion of wanting to give back to those seniors. This event provides help from the community to prepare their futures by highlighting resources, scholarships, and information and connections by inviting Arizona colleges, our community, and local businesses to share a wide variety of opportunities available to them. So, there's going to be no fiscal impact to the town. This event will be funded via donations and then the steps following approval, the public the Parker Public Library library will move forward with planning and contacting donors and sponsors.

discussion and action to approve and deny animal shelter in expansion. Betty Parker and Sawyer Conlin. Hi, mayor and council. The animal shelter is currently at max capacity due to the overflow of dogs, forcing them to turn them away to the crit shelter, which is also a kill facility. The Western Arizona Humane Society is also at maximum capacity. The purpose of the shelter is to house these animals, so sending them away defeats the purpose of having a no kill shelter.
There is no fiscal impact to the town. There was a local resident that passed away and gifted funds to the purpose of caring for the animals and the shelter. Public works staff will hire an architect to draft plans for the expansion of the animal shelter. We are asking for a motion to approve the department of hiring an architect to draft these plans to expand the as the animal shelter was an estimated cost of $20,000 from us which would be covered by the donations from the local resident that had passed. Okay. Thank you. Any comments? I mean I think we should since it's not coming from our budget. It's not from somebody else's. I agree.
I agree. favor. I oppose. Oh, you a motion, fool.
I'm I motion to hire architect to help expand the animal shelter not to exceed $20,000. All in favor? I second. I second. I
