I'll call to order this Board of County Commissioners meeting. This is a special meeting. It is Monday, July 20th, 2026 at four o'clock. And we are here to set our R&R intent. The revenue neutral rate is the property tax rate that generates the exact same amount of money as the prior year. So we have done some workshops this last week and have arrived at a rate This is above the R&R. Last year we did the same thing, but ended up coming in below when we had our hearing. So this next couple of months, the commission will be working on trying to get it down to the R&R as much as we can, but we'll be working with department heads and elected officials to get us close to R&R and still provide those services that citizens have come to depend on. So I will move to approve the, well, okay, today we're just doing, I'll make a motion that the governing body of Neosho County hereby notifies the Neosho County clerk of intent to exceed the revenue neutral rate at the mill levy rate of 48.465. The date of our hearing for the R&R is September the 15th at 9 a.m. We'll be here at the courthouse in Erie. Any more discussion?
