City Council in 2023 for a six story 108 residential affordable housing project. This was a little over three years ago since then the tree has deteriorated in health. It now finds itself in very poor health beyond repair, per the Arborist Report, which is attached with the materials of today's agenda. As such, staff is recommending that the tree be approved for removal. The applicant is proposing to replace it with two silver leaf oak trees. And on the screen, you'll be able to see the red X designating the area where the heritage tree is located. And the green circles are the proposed replacement trees. With that, staff has reviewed all the material and again is recommending approval of this heritage tree removal program. Thank you.

Hello, everyone. I'm . I'm ,, associate project manager at . And yes, we've been working alongside with Edgar First, we were really wanting to make sure we found retention for this tree because it is a heritage tree, but we even planned to even relocate the tree because originally it was in the path of the construction crane, so it did cause that obstruction. However, once we discussed with our arborist, our arborist recommended that the relocation would not be useful since the tree was in very bad health. And so at the end, our arborist did recommend that we remove the tree and then just replace it with two additional heritage trees. So that is our solution and our path forward. And Mia, let me know if you have any questions.
