And let the record reflect, Madam Mayor, that while we have on the agenda that Council Member Alonzo might have participated from a remote location, he is present in person this evening. Great. As he waves. AT THIS POINT, IT'S TIME FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE AGENDA ITEMS ONLY. ANYONE WHO WISHES TO ADDRESS THE CITY COUNCIL ON EITHER THE CLOSED SESSION ITEMS OR THE REGULAR BUSINESS WOULD NEED TO STEP FORWARD AT THIS TIME TO PRESENT THEIR TESTIMONY. IS THERE ANY CARDS? NO CARDS? OKAY. WE HAVE TWO ITEMS FOR CLOSED SESSION. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNCIL, EXISTING LITIGATION, THE CHIEF VERSUS THE CITY OF MONTBELLA MATTER, AND CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNCIL, ANTICIPATED LITIGATION, THE THREAT OF LITIGATION IN ONE ITEM. and then we will come immediately after closed session into open session to deal with the one item under regular business.

Yes, thank you very much, Madam Mayor, members of the City Council. The record should reflect the City Council recess into closed session for discussion of the two items that were announced prior to recessing into closed session, that all five members of the Council were present, that the City Council received a briefing on those two items. There was no action taken that is required to be reported in the open session at this time. That concludes my report from closed session. Continue on with the agenda. Our regular business, the one item we have for today is the receiving file of the required 10-day report on City of Montebello's temporary moratorium on Senate Bill 79 development applications within the Washington Boulevard transit-oriented development specific plan area pursuant to government code section 65858D.
