Present. Thank you, we have a board. I'm going to mention my name, Arias Ulises.
Is he on the list? Because I think that happened last week.
It should be there. That might be the last one.
Arias? Yes. Yes.
Okay, we're going to start with the nuisance abatement agenda. There's four cases. Just to let the board know, the notices were not sent out, however, Two cases, I do have updates and statuses and contact with the owner, so I can go through those. The first case is appearing on page six, property address 1721 Northwest 55th Street. Calling out for Danny Felton. Danny Felton. Mr. Felton was here last time. This is the property the jurisdiction is running tomorrow. However, I do have contact from the Neighborhood Resource Officer that the property has been in compliance with all the conditions of the order. The owner was here and appeared last month. It did indicate that he would be in contact with NROs. But jurisdiction runs tomorrow anyway. Regardless, it would have to naturally terminate. But at this juncture, we're going to motion to terminate the order for compliance as to this property.
Okay. Do we have a motion to terminate for compliance?
Motion to terminate.
We have a second? Second. All in favor?
Aye.
Next case is appearing on page 46. Property address is 1278 Northwest 58th Terrace. Owner is Raul Cosio. Again, there was no notice provided. I don't have an update for the board. So at this point, we're going to motion to reset the case for status for next month, May 27th.
Do we have a motion to reset? So moved. We have a second? Second. All in favor?
Aye. Third case appearing on page 86, 1283 Northwest 59th Street, owner Najib Iqbal. Same instance with the prior property address, notice was not posted or provided. And I don't have an update as far as the compliance, so I'm going to request a reset for a status on May 27th next month.
Do we have a motion to reset? So moved. Second. All in favor?
Aye. And the final case appearing on page 128. Property address is 143 Northeast 68th Street. Owner Marco Lopez, who did contact our office regarding the hearing. I do have updates regarding compliance. This is the first time up. However, it's been reset due to the owner was out of the country for a medical issue. However, he initiated compliance prior to the initial hearing, which was back in December. He's maintained the property. There's no trespass sign is up. There's an affidavit on file, there's adequate lighting, and he did provide photos to myself and the neighborhood resource officers. He's remained in contact with the neighborhood resource officers. He's otherwise complied with all the conditions of the order, and he actually took some initiative prior to the hearing back in December. So based on the wishes of the police department and the City of Miami will adopt, we're gonna motion to terminate This order for compliance.
Do we have a motion to terminate? So moved. We have a second? Second. All in favor? Aye.
Vice Chair, go ahead. Do we know if there's been any other incidents with this property since?
There has been none reported to me and had there been, those would have been reported to me because I've been hearing of other instances on current properties that we do are prosecuting. So I have no... Based on the absence of communication, I'm going to make an educated guess that there have been none.
Okay. And the only reason why I'm asking that is because I know what this property has been involved with, which is quite a lot of drugs, quite a bit of drugs. And so I want to make sure that since we're terminating compliance, I want to make sure there's nothing being repeated on the back end without our knowledge.
And those prior tenants have been removed, and there's a vacant property registration that's been provided to myself.
Thank you.
And I said I'd be done under five minutes. It almost got there, but I'm at 410, and that completes it.
Awesome. We had a first and a second on that motion to terminate. Do all in favor?
Aye. That was fast.
So that's the end of the nuisance abatement. So I have an announcement to make. I don't know if the chair wants to make the announcement. I understand that Mr. Queneau will be leaving us
