Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

Hello, I am Mayor Betsy Nash, and welcome to the September 8th special City Council meeting. This is a hybrid meeting with City Council, City staff, and members of the public participating virtually and at the City Hall Downtown Conference Center. Please note public comment speaker time may be limited if there are more than 10 speakers on an item. We also ask that if you are in person, please submit your speaker cards to the City Clerk at this time. Roll call. I would like to introduce City Council members and staff present. In the downtown conference room are myself, Mayor Benzie Nash, City Council members Drew Combs, Jeff Schmidt, and Cecilia Taylor. Vice Mayor Jennifer Wise will join us shortly. Staff present include Assistant City Manager Stephen Stolte, City Attorney Neera Doherty, and Deputy City Clerk Sarah Sandoval. Our agenda tie is Closed Session C1, Conference with Legal Counsel, Anticipated Litigation. Paragraph 2 of Subdivision D of Government Code Section 54956.9, Significant Exposure to Litigation, One Case. Deputy City Clerk Sandoval, please call for public comment on this closed session item.
