I call the Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 council business meeting to order. I met with the council members at 5 p.m. in the sixth floor council conference room for a briefing to discuss tonight's agenda. At 5.30, we moved here to the first floor chambers to conduct the council business meeting in person. And because we encourage community involvement, we invite the public to join us in person, attend via remote option through Zoom, or view on BCAT. The council will accept spoken public comment on the items under the consent agenda. We have also set aside time at the end of the meeting for communi

I really appreciate you coming in and talking to us.
Is there, well, is there anybody in the public who would like to comment on the consent agenda? And Mr. Runyon did ask that he could do it remotely, but I see you're here in person, so, okay.
Well, we did discuss it at last week's study session, but perhaps our city attorney or finance director could just give a very brief, it's a code cleanup. It's not adding anything at this time, it's cleaning up the code. In what respect?
All right, thank you. Thank you. Mr. Camacho?
Can I talk? Who would like to speak next, please?
Thank you. Anybody else like to speak on the agenda?
Ma'am, right now at this point of the agenda, it's just about things on our consent agenda. Later on in the meeting, you're allowed to come and talk about any subject that you would like to.
Thank you for your comments. Is there anybody else who would like to speak to items on the consent agenda? Oh, is there anybody? I think the only person who had signed up is here in person. So, all right.
That's it. That's it? Okay. So nobody else wants to speak on this, all right. Seeing no additional comments, we will move to council consideration of the consent agenda.
Do we have a second? I'll second. Okay, we have a motion and a second. Is there any council discussion? I'm reading the script.
Yeah, I'm reading. OK, I call for the vote, please.

So Shannon is our newest Bremerton Housing Authority board member. The mayor appointed him and we approved his appointment tonight. So do you want to say a few words to the community?

Okay, good afternoon, good evening, everyone. I don't have a formal report tonight. However, I did have the privilege of attending the change of command ceremony on behalf of the City Council for Group 9, which is located at Bangor. I think it's just this slide and another slide of like not so good photography from the absolute very beginning of it because I had every intention of taking good photos while I was there because I was working and doing my job. But about three planes into it, I got completely distracted. It was a wonderful time and realized as we're leaving, I didn't take any more pictures. So these are like the worst pictures for the best
