Good evening ladies and gentlemen. It is now 5:30 and I will call this regular meeting of the Burnsville City Council to order. It is our tradition to stand for a moment of silence and we invite you to join us. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Uh if the clerk would just note that um council member Workman is um absent this evening. Welcome everyone who's here in person. Members of the public are welcome. Uh, and they can also choose to watch us on burnsville.gov/meings or comcast channel 16 or 859. The public can also participate through Zoom by joining us at zoom. usjoin. More information is available on our meetings web page and in a council agenda packet. The first item on our agenda is the announcements and proclamations. We have no proclamations this evening, but we do have announcements about all of our upcoming meetings. Regular council meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, April 21st at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, May 5th at 5:30 p.m. We have a work session that's scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th at 5:30 p.m. And we have a closed work work session, a closed session for the city manager's performance review, and that is this evening, Tuesday, April 7th at 6:00 p.m. And that will be in Dakota B. We have a special work session that's also scheduled for our quarterly roundtable and that is Tuesday, April 14th and that's at 6 pm and that will be in Dakota B. Unless noted all meetings of the city council are held here in the chambers. So this evening we were to acknowledge the retirement and recognition of Assistant Fire Chief Terry Richie which needs to be postponed and we look
forward to that rescheduling and so hope that he will recover soon. The next item on the agenda is citizens comments. This is the opportunity for anyone in the audience or anyone online to address the council on an item that is not on the printed agenda and not an application form that will be coming before us at a future date. Is there anyone who wishes to address the council? Mrs. Collins, is there anyone online? No one online has asked to speak, mayor. Okay. Thank you. We will then move on. The next item is additions to the final agenda and this is for emergency items only. City Manager Lindberg, are there any emergency items?

However, an item on a consent agenda can be removed for a separate discussion and vote. Number item two is the consent agenda which is the approval of minutes and a resolution and approval of property casualty liability annual insurance renewal. Is there anyone who wishes an item to be removed from the consent agenda for a separate discussion and vote? Seeing none, may I have a motion to adopt the consent agenda? Moved.
