A City Council Workshop was held on February 19th for the purpose of discussing the selection process for the City Manager position. During the workshop, Council engaged in discussion regarding the proposed timeline, recruitment strategy, candidate qualifications, and procedural steps associated with the hiring process. Council Members provided input on expectations for the position and considerations for ensuring a transparent and thorough selection process. Following discussion, it was the consensus and direction of Council to schedule an additional workshop to continue deliberations and further refine the selection process prior to moving forward with recruitment efforts.
