Planning and Zoning Meeting - Regular Meeting

Hey, I'm at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. These rivers carry millions of gallons of water every year, from as far away as the Rockies all the way to the Gulf. Over my shoulders, Lewis and Clark camped when they set out to map the Louisiana Purchase. These rivers were the highways of their day, moving people and goods deep into the interior parts of the country. Even today, the Mississippi sees 175 million tons of freight every year. Missouri sees far less, but thousands of recreational craft use both of these waterways every single summer. There's places like this throughout St. Charles County, where natural beauty and history come together as a confluence.
