Good evening. It's now 6:30 and I call this regular meeting of the Victoria City Council to order. Please join us in the pledge of allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. The first item on our agenda this evening is announcements. I want to welcome everyone to the first council meeting of 2026. All meetings of the city council are open to the public and held in the council chambers at city hall unless otherwise noted. We encourage anyone wanting to attend or interested in speaking at a council meeting or workshop to contact the city clerk in advance for more information. Um the city offices will be closed Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday regular business hours will re resume Tuesday morning, January 20th at 8:00 a.m. We invite everyone to join us for our free monthly series, Donuts in Victoria, where you connect with city staff and community partners to learn about the latest happenings and hot button topics in Victoria. And the best part, donuts and coffee are always on the menu. Donuts in Victoria is held the third Wednesday of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 at the Victoria Recreation Center in the multi-purpose room. We are also recruiting for our citizen advisory boards, including our planning commission, parks, and recreation committee. And for more information on either of those, please go to the city's website or contact our city clerk. There are no other announcements this evening. So, we're moving on to the next order of business, which is to adopt the final agenda. Council, can I get a motion to adopt the final agenda?

This is the opportunity for anyone to address the council on an item that is not on the agenda and not application form that will be coming to the council at a future date. Items on the consent agenda are routine administrative and do not require deliberation or are housekeeping items that are required by law. Consent agenda items are pro approved with one vote unless someone requests an item to be considered separately. Our first meeting of the year is our annual organizational meeting with several routine items. We got a lot of inquiries from cities, with police forces about things that are going on. So we're very busy with that, but nothing uh of concern here in Victoria. Very good. Thank you, Miss Hardy.
