Board Appointments

Resolution Number 87-26: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, authorizing an agreement between the City of Riviera Beach and Palm Beach County accepting Community Development Block Grant Funds in the amount of $197,012 from Palm Beach County for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 reconstruction of 35th Street from Avenue F to Avenue H authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to establish an associated project account; and providing an effective date.

Staff recommends a Motion to approve Resolution Number 87-26.

Resolution Number 89-26: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, accepting FY 2025-2026 State Aid to Libraries Grant Funds from the State Library and Information Services Division of Florida in the amount of $14,139; authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to setup a budget; and providing an effective date.

Staff recommends a Motion to approve Resolution Number 89-26.

Resolution Number 93-26: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, approving an interlocal agreement between the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida and the City of Riviera Beach, Florida, for adult reentry services; accepting funding in an amount not to exceed Six Hundred Forty-Six Thousand Eight Hundred Two Dollars ($646,802.00) for the continuation of reentry services from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027; authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Interlocal Agreement and providing an effective date.

Staff recommends a Motion to approve Resolution Number 93-26.

Resolution Number 96-26: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, authorizing the Mayor to execute a three-year contract with Palm Beach County, through its Board of County Commissioners, for the operation of the Youth Empowerment Center (YEC) Program; and providing for an effective date.

Staff recommends a Motion to approve Resolution Number 96-26.

Ordinance Number 4322: An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Florida, amending Chapter 11 of the City's Code of Ordinances entitled, "Nuisances," Article IV, "Noise," by repealing Article IV in its entirety and adopting a new Article IV, entitled "Sound," to revise and consolidate the City's sound and noise regulations, including standards for outdoor sound amplification devices, certified outdoor venues, enclosed places of public entertainment, and exterior sound levels by zoning district; providing for definitions; providing for outdoor venue approval criteria; providing for enforcement; providing for codification; providing for severability; providing for conflicts; and providing for an effective date.

Staff recommends a Motion to approve Ordinance Number 4322.
