Resolution Number 74-26: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, authorizing Settlement in the case of Close Construction v. City of Riviera Beach Case No. 4D2023-0051/L.T. No. 50-2016-CA-013117A; Authorizing Governmental Claims Solutions to make a payment in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($150,000.00) as full and final settlement; and providing an effective date.

Staff recommends a Motion for the Board to approve Resolution Number 74-26.

It is recommended that the Mayor and the Utility Special District Board provide direction on whether emergency repairs should be authorized through a blanket purchase order prior to services being rendered or be presented to the USD Board of Directors retroactively for approval.
