Board of County Commissioners Regular and Meetings - Special Meeting

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to a special meeting of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners. It's May 12, 2026 at 1030 AM. Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute 24-6-4024B and 24-6-4024E and I, the Board of County Commissioners will convene an executive session for a conference with the county attorney and county's environmental legal counsel for the purpose of receiving legal advice on and for matters that may be subject to negotiations regarding a u.s environmental protection agency proposal with respect to proceedings in the leadville corporation bankruptcy matter pending in federal court no decisions of the board of county commissioners shall be made in executive session and nor no formal action will be taking during be taken during this executive session.

I move to go into executive session.

I as the County Attorney certify that the next bankruptcy and a proposal that has been brought to our water, or not our water, but our environmental attorney, Melanie Granberg, by the EPA, accordingly, to receive specific legal questions on those issues. Accordingly, no record or minutes are required to be kept for this portion, and the recording may be stopped. Are we recording?
