Motion and second. All in favor say I.

Hearing none, I'll look for a motion to approve the consent agenda as presented. Motion second. A motion second. All in favor say I. I. Post same sign.

Motion carries. 50. With that, we will move to business items. Consider approval of conditional offer of employment to hire Bo Hanssman to the public works supervisor position.

1:31 – 2:41Speaker 1

Thank you, mayor. As everybody knows, we've been looking for a qualified applicant for the public works supervisor position that was uh left open here recently. We received three applicants for the position. We elected to interview all three for the position. Upon conclusion of the interviews, we deliberated and came to the unanimous decision to recommend Bo Hanssman for the hire as a new public works supervisor. He comes to us from the private sector company Violia uh functions m much like a people service uh specializing in outsourced utility operations where he works as a lead. He has worked for the company for seven years where he leads and supervises a staff of a handful of of employees. He holds his class C water license and class B wastewater license uh for which he is eligible for uh to test for his A in November. We believe his experience, personality, and demeanor will fit well as our next public works supervisor. We're recommending the uh city council approve his hire at step five at 4574 per hour as well as preloading one week 40 hours of PTO into his bank.

2:39 – 3:22Speaker 1

Thank you. With that, is there any questions for uh Administrator Johnson? No. Hearing none, I'll look for a motion to approve the hire of public works supervisor Bo Hanssman at uh step five with 40 hours of PTO preloaded into his bank. Motion. Second. We have a motion, a second. Any further discussion? Uh with this, we anticipate a start date will be in two weeks on the 23rd. Awesome. Um just a question. So has he already accepted the position or Kellogg will say this is what we approved and then he has to accept?

3:19 – 4:03Speaker 1

He has accepted the conditional offer of employment with the terms and conditions as stated. Okay. Any other questions, comments? Hearing none, I'll look for a motion to approve the hiring of Bo Hanssman as public works supervisor. Did you already have that? Oh. All in favor say I. I. Oppose. Same sign. Motion carries. 5-0. That was my fault because the question at the right time. Welcome. You answer at the perfect time. That's me. Um, so with that, we'll move to city council reports. Council member health. Anything to report on? I have not had any extra meetings as council member Fouch. I have not. Council member Jackson, no.

4:02 – 4:31Speaker 1

And council member McNeely? No. And I have other than the uh sitting in on the hiring or the uh interviewing of the candidates, I have nothing more to report on. So with that, I'll look for a motion to adjurnn. Motion. Second. We have a motion to second. All in favor say I. I. Post sign. We are adjourned. Nice. That was fast. The fast like it's all there is to it.
