Board of Lights and Water Appointment
Discussion regarding applications received for Board of Lights and Water non-resident member vacancy.
Workers' Compensation Excess and Fiduciary Insurance Renewal
Motion approving the renewal of Workers' Compensation Excess Insurance and Fiduciary Insurance.
Convention Center Funding Allocation
Establish and confirm the continuation of the Marietta Conference Center as to allocation formula, operations, contracts, obligations, and its relationship with adjacent City owned properties, Golf Course, Brumby Gardens, and GWTW Museum. The Hotel Motel Tax allocation that is expiring is to be reestablished to create a second Tourism Event Center with a capital investment structure with the same percentage of allocation that is designated to the Convention Center. In establishing a quality tourism investment, the allocated receipts as currently allocated to the Convention Center shall be encumbered for future projects. The Conference Center and Tourism Event Center shall be operated as separate projects under the same umbrella.
Georgia Rehoused Program - Emmanuel's Village
Discussion regarding support for an application to the Georgia Rehoused Program for Emmanuel's Village, and consideration of allocating at least $50,000 of Opioid Settlement Funds toward the project. Council Member Gaddis disclosed that his employer is the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and as such, he will recuse himself from discussion and voting on that item.

Discussion of an opening on the Civil Service Board.
