Planning Commission - Regular Meeting
The Planning Commission approved three variance requests for a property at 1820 Juniper Street, allowing for the expansion of a nonconforming structure and a reduced side yard setback, but denied a variance for a concrete patio. The Commission also recommended approval with conditions for amendments to the city’s bicycle parking code, addressing concerns about cargo bike parking, covered parking, and short-term rentals.

Land Acknowledgment Statement
We acknowledge that Longmont sits on the traditional territory of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, Ute, and other indigenous peoples. We honor the history and the living and spiritual connection that the first people have with this land. It is our commitment to face the injustices that happened when the land was taken, and to educate our communities, ourselves, and our children to ensure that these injustices do not happen again.
