Now, let's start today's work meeting, which will be held on September 15, 2026, at 4 p.m. The first case is the update of the IOWA University Student Association . Hello, everyone.

0:33 – 1:24Speaker 1

Nice to meet you all. There is a simple notice today. One of our student council members is promoting a business called 2good2go with local businesses. This is an app that allows local residents to buy leftovers of food after the business is closed at a low price. More businesses will be exempted from using the app so that they can participate in sustainability issues. We also started applying for the vice-chairman. Please look forward to the next meeting. It will also be announced at the Iowa City Downtown Earth Conference in September. Until then, we will work hard to connect the city and the local community more closely through various projects at our university. So, more urban-based plans will be announced soon. Also, the USG will officially be formed by the end of this month through the fall designation. I am very happy to be able to attend the meeting again. Thank you. Welcome back.

1:36 – 2:17Speaker 4

The second item is an explanation of the subject matter. Let's move on to the third item, the information packet. September 3rd, September 10th.

2:17 – 4:22Speaker 2

I think it's IP4, one of the workshop topics. I talked about the general discussion on public safety over the last few times. We discussed this as part of the strategy management, but considering the various strategic priorities we have, I think it would be more appropriate to set up a workshop topic separately. Yes, I think it would be better to do so. Of course, it is necessary to re-evaluate the strategic priority, but there are several components and strategic priority in the re-evaluation. And as I said, there is a wide range of areas to discuss various approaches related to public safety. I would like to hear updates on the current situation. A few years ago, Various aspects of public safety, our current situation, and good data on what we've done. After that, we've done more work. What are you considering more in the future? How should we review it? What role should the police play other than a substitute? In the end, I would like to go back to talking about our overall vision and implementation of the public safety plan. I would like to address this part as a future work topic. And yes, definitely. This is the first question, and the second question is that it would be nice to have it open before the budget review.

4:22Speaker 4

Yes, I hope it will be helpful. To be honest,

4:45 – 5:45Speaker 2

I just talked to the D.A.C. financial advisory committee, and I think it's better to review our current situation and response plan again than to discuss it in the city council. However, we do not want a simple meeting at the time of the 45-minute announcement. Rather, based on the current situation, I think the discussion on the level of the demonstration that understands what is waiting for us in the future is more important. I want to know about the specific activities that we are currently doing or that we can continue to do in the future. Are you talking about general activities? Or is it limited to safety and police-related discussions? Or Is it an activity about comprehensive public safety? Yes, it's about comprehensive public safety. And I wonder when the data will be released. Do you know? We are ready to provide you with anything that can help the discussion.

5:45Speaker 4

We are not collecting data at the moment. I'm talking about research. I'm sorry. Research. Oh, you're talking about inequality research, right?

5:50Speaker 1

Yes, we are aiming to complete it by the end of this month.

5:59Speaker 2

It is certain that the deadline is the end of this month.

6:02Speaker 4

Until then, it will definitely be completed. I think it will be around September 30th or early October. I can't tell you the exact date, but that's how it's going. The university said so.

6:10Speaker 1

Yes. It will be completed by the end of this month. Yes. There is no exact date, but you said you would let me know soon.

6:18Speaker 2

You didn't tell me the exact date. May I ask you a question? Yes, it's different.

6:21Speaker 4

Like the final report of the consultant report, you have to go through several stages. If you get a draft, we will review it and ask for questions or additional explanations. It's okay. Let's proceed. You have to go through a repetitive process until you do. I see.

6:39 – 6:51Speaker 1

However, I thought that the date of giving the draft, the date of reviewing, and the date of submitting the final form after the question were planned like this. I don't know why it's different.

6:51 – 7:46Speaker 4

Usually in a consultant contract, These results indicate the date of submission, but in fact, the dates are often dynamic. Like our compensation plan now. The compensation plan had to be completed a few months ago, but it is still in the final decision-making stage. Therefore, it may be a bit dynamic, but we are working hard to finish it, and I think the university also wants to finish it. How quickly can strategic planning be carried out? I finished all the meetings of the 1-on-1 committee yesterday. Now I'm ready to set up a schedule with ECCOG, and ECCOG will be in charge of the progress. Call Allen, who is in charge of the progress, and check the schedule. You all have to set a time together. The meeting is likely to take more than half a day, so it won't end with one workshop. It depends on how smoothly the last meeting went.

7:58Speaker 2

I asked Allen directly, and he said it would be around mid-October. I hope everyone can attend. Yes, yes. Yes, it's okay.

8:30 – 8:42Speaker 4

Then, the question is whether the committee agrees to put public safety-related cases on the agenda. Are you going to discuss that at the actual meeting? Yes, of course.

8:42Speaker 1

But I would like to receive the data first. Yes.

8:48Speaker 4

Then I will post it in the actual meeting. Tell me. Thank you for giving it to me.

8:51Speaker 2

All right. How should I write it on the reserve list?

8:53Speaker 4

Should I just say public safety discussion? Yes. Public safety discussion. Yes. All right.

8:57Speaker 1

Thank you for telling me. All right. Do you have any other questions?

9:00 – 19:45Speaker 4

We have already discussed the case of the Youth Council, so if there are no more questions, we will move on to the discussion of the Youth Council, which is the 4th case. This case was often discussed or requested by the committee. So, employees, we asked you to list this case, and we know that Jeff delivered a memo. Please ask Jeff to review the memo again. Please wait a moment. The memo was obtained to make the direction of the discussion a little clearer. The mayor was interested in discussing the original case at the office meeting, and the City Council agreed to upload it to the reserve list. There wasn't a lot of internal discussion about making this case. Therefore, the employees didn't offer you ideas or recommendations. However, overall, we briefly explained the history of the IOWA City Youth Council and some general participation strategies. The IOWA City Council had an official Youth Advisory Committee. The committee was disbanded in 2012, and when we reviewed the content at the time, there were many problems that cities often face at the Youth Council. It seems that there was a gap between the authority given by the city and the work that could actually be carried out. And it was also a problem that the replacement of the members was small during the appointment of the members. In the end, the 2012 City Council decided to disband the committee after a comprehensive review of all the committees and advisory committees at the time. So, overall, we have looked at a few strategies that cities use to participate in youth. The official committee is still running in some cities. It is a committee that offers recommendations according to the scope of the service provided by the committee, such as the Park Committee and the Human Rights Committee. Um, or some cities can consider introducing local governments and local social volunteers to teenagers through programs such as Citizens Academy. It provides a leadership development opportunity. These programs are usually run for a certain period of time, such as 8 weeks or 12 weeks, and teenagers can participate in different ways every time. Other cities Through programs and special events, we are trying to actively participate in youth in various fields of municipal administration. This is the direction we have changed over the past few years. As I mentioned in the memo, such programs as the Youth Human Rights Act are intentional ways to encourage the participation of local youth and to recognize their value. Also, you can consider appointing a contact person like a U.S. government contact officer or setting up a youth representative position at a existing committee or board that is considered to need the voice of the youth. This is what we explained in the memo. Yes, we are employees. We will help you with this conversation. We would like to know more about the motivation to lead the conversation with the interests of the audience. Yes, thank you. At least in my case, this conversation did not start as a one-off, but various people for several years talked about the establishment of the IOWA Youth Council. The biggest intention they wanted to achieve was provide young people with opportunities to volunteer in the region. It can be called a kind of volunteer project. Another important point is to expand political understanding to young people, what it means to be a senior civil servant, and what each department does to learn what it is. Therefore, in terms of education, it is important to learn what the services provided in the city and in the local community are. And lastly, many of the people I talked to asked if there is a way to show the teenagers that they have joined a program run by the city. Maybe that's the most appropriate form. This is a general opinion from a discussion I've had for years. Most of the young people who want to participate in this program I think it will be the same as what other people said. The reason I raised this issue at the meeting was to start a preliminary discussion on the first. The reason I say it's early is because I personally think this should be the starting point of the conversation. At this point, I think we need to decide what form it will be in. One or two people will appoint a councilor, or I will appoint someone to investigate the problem in more detail and gather public opinion and report it to the committee. My wish is to start a conversation and find out what ideas are there. Of course, the committee will form a committee or create an agreement. or If you decide to take specific measures, you will be instructed to do so. However, my idea is to decide how to move on to the next step through conversation and collect information so that the committee can review it. I The interesting thing about this issue is the idea of expanding civic education and participation for youth. With that in mind, I thought that it might be the beginning point to cooperate or contact with schools in other regions such as City High School and West High School before setting up a full-scale committee and preparing everything. Of course, I don't want to exclude any school, but there will already be students who are studying government-related elective subjects, so I think those students can be good reference materials and I think I can hear the opinions of the teachers. Maybe the teachers are better at understanding the situation than I am sitting here. Um, another thought is, actually, this is, um, uh... As you know, there's a student council everywhere. So maybe we're going to have a student council, like the USG. To find out if you're interested in playing a kind of contactless role. So students participate directly and communicate with us. We're trying to figure out how much they're actually interested in the youth. If there are people who are interested in that and want it, I think it's a good way to go back and participate. I don't participate every meeting, but once a month. I think that's a good way. They get used to the city, come into the building, meet us, meet the city staff, get used to the space, and experience how the meeting goes on, I think I can be interested in it as a kind of demonstration. And at the same time, I think I can provide them with practical experience that will help their civic education. These are the thoughts I've had while thinking about the problem for the past few days. Yes, I always Not only Iowa City, but many young people in the local community have their own views and experiences. It's a group of people with experiences that we haven't had. So we held a youth town hall meeting. Yes, I am very much in favor of teaching people how education, especially the local government, is run, and giving them the right to participate. In fact, it is giving them authority. If a case directly affects young people, it is to be able to play an official advisory role. I don't know how to present the important things they need to focus on, but one of the things I think is the most important thing is to take their opinions seriously and reflect them in their will.

20:00 – 20:21Speaker 1

When I read the document provided by the city manager, there was a youth advisory committee in Edo City before, and I think there was a committee in 2012. At that time, the committee seems to have disappeared because it could not secure as many applicants as it does now. I asked Eric and Kelly, but I don't know if they remember the situation at the time.

20:21 – 21:00Speaker 4

There were two reasons why I understood the discussion at the time. First, there was no clear mission at the hearing. It was not clearly presented what to do at the committee. So I think the teenagers were often in trouble when they tried to work. As you know, there are limits to what we can and cannot do as the city government, and that was sometimes a difficulty. Yes, it is true that it was difficult to find teenagers to participate in the committee meeting and to fill in the term because of their extracurricular activities or other promises.

21:06 – 22:52Speaker 1

I also know that many people want to participate in the committee's activities, but I'm not sure if this will continue in the future. And I know exactly what the goal of running this committee is in terms of leadership. As Oliver said, this is necessary, but our goal is that students, young people, and young children It is to learn about the government and feel the joy. Many organizations run leadership academies for teenagers. It is known to provide education for civic activities for 8 weeks. We think it's worth considering such a program. And, um, in my opinion, it's like a friend. And you also said that the committee's activities are difficult, but will there be enough personnel to make another committee? I think it's a good idea to arrange a seat for each committee for teenagers. For example, only one seat per committee is for teenagers only. only young people can participate. Then you can apply to various committees and you can learn about the government at the same time. You don't need additional personnel input, and it's not just a suggestion. Well, I don't know. And you can encourage young people who want to learn about citizen participation and government management and introduce related institutions.

22:57Speaker 2

I think it would be good to support it so that it can participate in the existing educational programs provided by the local society. I think it's a good idea. Yes, I thought so, too.

23:04 – 24:57Speaker 4

No, I fully agree with that opinion. I was thinking the same thing. There's a part where you have to define the meaning and purpose of Memo Malmi, and I think there have been three different opinions so far. I think we need to agree before we discuss it with the committee. Yes. And I think it would be difficult to model the USG, the American school government, as a model when the White Line chairman tries to play the role of an advisor. The USG is a one-man organization in which members of the party elect their own representatives through their own elections. We run several schools including three high schools and three private schools, so the situation is a little different. How can we find a candidate? However, there are already selection procedures and support procedures in the process of forming a committee, so I think we can organize the necessary parts through this process. And one more thing to consider is that the exact name of the committee that was formed at the time, except for the 2012 committee, is not remembered, but it is a problem related to it. In addition to the efforts of the city in 2012, there was an attempt to establish a youth leadership academy in Greater Iowa City and Greater Iowa City a year ago, but it was very difficult in 2012. Although the target group was slightly different, it focused more on education than participation. Therefore, we have something to learn here. However, I agree with the idea that we should use the existing infrastructure mentioned by the chairman and organize a committee with actual responsibility so that students and adolescents can participate. It is a good case that is expected to have a very high participation in the public and recreation committee. However, it is necessary to discuss whether the members of the committee should continue or not, and whether it is a legal problem. I don't know what the regulations for having a committee under the age of 18 are. Do you have any regulations?

24:57Speaker 3

Yes, I think we need to review our regulations and laws. I think it might be okay. Yes, but...

25:04 – 26:10Speaker 4

I think it's interesting to distinguish between members with and without voting rights. If you go in that direction, I think you need to think more carefully. For example, the opinion of a 9th or 10th grader on public relations and recreation issues may have different objections to the opinion on area management issues. Yes, of course, they are not against participating in the committee, but if you talk about it, especially if you consider the same legal situation as the important regional development problem, including millions of dollars of budget and jobs. Yes, I don't think that's appropriate. Of course, it's good for them to participate and learn, but if you think logically, you might say that you're not the right person for such a committee. So I think we need some kind of intentional judgment. Personally, I like that idea, and I think I can think about how much interest there is through it and consider forming an independent committee later. If no one participates in this committee meeting, it may be a signal that we need to think of another way later.

26:10 – 28:10Speaker 2

What I was trying to say is that, in itself, I think we need to consider the reality. For example, if a teenager is expelled, we need to think about the period. It's not two or four years. But after listening to what you said, I think there's something to think about in terms of education. For example, as you go through a variety of postdoc activities, you experience various components of each activity. Of course, you may need a little working time, or you may be limited to postdocs. Can we talk about what kind of work, what kind of work, what to consider, what is interesting and what is not? And since they only meet once a month, they do about a quarter of the work and then move on to another work. I can't do all the work, but what if I can choose? Then you'll be able to do a variety of jobs. You have to do this job forcibly. It's less burdensome and you can choose it yourself, so you can participate more actively. Because they're already existing jobs. I just said what I thought. How about having a meeting on this topic? That's what I was going to say. It's 4.30 p.m. right now. You can talk right now. There was a response. I don't think we need to make anything new. I think it's unfair because they're doing a lot of work. To be honest, I asked them about this problem. Is this something you can handle? And they said, I've done it before, but it didn't work.

28:10Speaker 4

So I thought it would be nice for the CLP members to be in charge of part of the work.

28:31 – 30:10Speaker 2

It is to attract people who already want to participate using the existing people and the system. I thought about what kind of students would be the target, but I admit that students who take government classes are already interested in that. But why don't we attract more people from where there are people? How about i-JAG club students? For the students of various clubs in our school, How about visiting high school clubs and finding out if there are students with participation? It's about finding out if other students will be interested in the activities rather than students who have already graduated from a political science major. And It is also important for students to have more diverse choices. For example, if students participate in a certain club and choose three or four clubs for a year, there is a high possibility that they will want to participate more actively. And follow-up measures are also needed. I've been thinking about these ideas, but I'm wondering how to make a sustainable program that will give the employees a burden on their work and be meaningful. The employees will also have to spend club activities and consultation time. I think employees should actively participate in this program. This is what I think.

30:11 – 34:25Speaker 4

What I wanted to say is that I heard a lot of stories that existing organizations and similar organizations that are involved in civic participation can be used. 비영리 단체들도 있고요. 학교의 정부 수업 선생님들과도 이야기를 나눠서 학생들이 어떤 활동에 참여하고 싶어 하는지 알아보고 있습니다. 저희 I know that there is a Youth Council at North Liberty High School. And a few days ago, students received data that suggested the establishment of a Youth Council. It may not be my suggestion, but it could be your suggestion. I know that there is a Youth Advisory Council at Iowa University. I saw it in the waiting room one day, and there was a Youth Advisory Council there, too. So, in my opinion, there seems to be a lot of discussion going on about how to use existing organizations to solve these problems by creating departments for young people in the city. However, the most important question, no matter in which direction you go, is to clarify what your goal is. As Mr. Mo said, we have to find that goal. Yes, what is the goal? Of course, by organizing a committee or advisory committee, teenagers can participate in various groups. Our local society is a really blessed place. As I always emphasize, there are many people who do rich resources and great work. As the mayor said, I don't think we need to make everything new from the beginning. However, I have heard and felt that it would be nice to have a department related to teenagers in the city from many people in the local community. Yes, there are great parks and recreation facilities in our city, and we are doing various activities for local youth. However, there are still many shortcomings. In my opinion, this is the key question. What is the goal of the department if you create a department that manages youth in the city? Take a look at existing organizations and make a big goal like the COP Community Opportunity Program. I think I can divide it into a few categories. If education is the goal, if volunteer work is the goal, there are already organizations that are already recruiting volunteers. For example, there are organizations such as United Way, United Way, Na Food Bank, Mills on Wheels. Many organizations are already looking for volunteers. Our goal is It is to provide such opportunities to young people. And through this program, I think it is important for young people to be able to get something. We also give thanks to the members. It's a thank you for the volunteer. It's a certificate of service. I think it would be very important for young people to receive such a certificate if they make a program or we make a program for young people.

34:34 – 34:49Speaker 2

Honestly, looking at the email and memo, I don't know who Max Lynch is, but I don't know if he's young or not. It's just a distribution of data, but it's really impressive. The scope and purpose are clear and the content is vast. There's a lot of content in it.

34:49Speaker 4

I saw that he organized his thoughts using AI in this memo, but I don't know what his idea is and what's different.

35:02Speaker 2

If I tell you, he has a frame and information, so there is a possibility.

35:06Speaker 4

It was the last moment, and thank you for sending me the data for the demonstration. Also, he honestly said he used the data.

35:11 – 35:36Speaker 2

Well, that could happen. Anyway, I think it takes a lot of effort to make a plan of this size. It will require a lot of things, and I think it will be a lot of pressure for those who participate in this plan. However, if it is in the direction, the information gained there may be a little helpful.

35:39 – 38:38Speaker 4

Can I suggest a department? There's one department that actually recognizes what children want. Yes, I think that's important. I think it's important to talk to children directly through school. There's one such department. And most people seem to be interested in what the existing infrastructure can accept. So I think I need to talk to other committees and the officials in charge of the committee, and of course discuss the legitimacy with the city attorney, and think about what is possible and appropriate, what is burdensome, and what is actually helpful. In my opinion, I thought of the park and recreation department, but there may be a better way. I don't know. Someone suggested a circular work, or I thought about a Western-based code. I don't know, but I think two things are the most important information to promote something. It's an infrastructure that goes well with what we're doing. The third information is whether it's done differently from what we're already doing. For example, it's like the Youth Leadership Academy that COP tried. Honestly, I'm not that excited right now. We have to educate more students, and we have to decide who will do the work separately, or we have to make them do the work. And I tried again recently, but I couldn't get as much participation as I wanted. So, the way to focus more on teaching children, and the way to say, I'll give you a mission, so jump in and experience it yourself, are two completely different things. It may be a good intention, but I learned that while raising a child. So, um, I thought it would be a good resource for high school government teachers to contact a few people to carry out this work. Student meeting. So I think it would be okay to have a student meeting. I don't know if each school has the same name, but it is highly likely that the students will be participating in various activities. Also, you're doing a lot of sports, music, and plays. So it's a student's word. So in terms of aptitude or adaptability, In the end, it's not just about taking away time from work and taking it out of other work. That's how you get very short or short-term results. There's a problem. So I think it's good to integrate into existing systems. In fact, the more you think about it, the more logical it seems to have advantages.

38:38 – 44:25Speaker 2

Another idea came to mind. I ran a student advisory committee for a year at the place I work. Students from other departments participated, and everything was done online. It was a small group debate focused on a specific topic, and it was essentially like a town hall meeting, but it was to gain insight and opinion. What do you think? Of course, not all topics may not be interesting to students, but you can't know that. And maybe it's regular. It's worth considering holding a town hall meeting for students. It may be more effective to deal with multiple topics at once. So that even if a certain session is canceled, everyone can participate without being buried. It would be possible. Like the existing way of listening to opinions, are you interested in students? I think it would be good to proceed in a way of asking. I want to hear the opinions of students in various places such as youth organizations and high schools. It can be said that it is a kind of focus group activity. It's time to hear your thoughts on the current situation. If a face-to-face debate is held, employees or senior civil servants will participate, but it won't be as overwhelming as it is now. So you can organize the details, but maybe that's another way for students to participate. I'll call the government officials and teachers again. What do students worry about? What are they dissatisfied with? How should we communicate with students? How can we make the content more effective? We ask these questions. And then we gather students' opinions and insight. Most importantly, we clearly explain to students why we are doing this. Simply, It's not just about using what we can do or your insight, but it's not that we have to do everything you've said. I think we're talking to them honestly and transparently. We really want to hear your opinions. Tell us what's going well, what's going wrong, what you want to see. That's what I'm saying. Maybe this way, students and teenagers can feel that their opinions are respected and participating, and that they can show their insight. The story so far is a little different from the Haewon method, but I think this could be one way. For example, what do parks and recreation facilities mean? What do you think is better, a high-rise building or a single residential area? You can talk about various topics such as transportation, bicycles, etc. Yes, I thought that collecting feedback that helps make policy decisions and providing information through programs such as civic education or leadership academy to students was a completely different way. I think the idea of using existing infrastructure is really good. Of course, I'm not sure if the committee or the advisory committee is the right place. I just said what I thought. As we all do. And I think it's because I think it might be difficult for me to handle a meeting once or twice. Some members say that after a year of re-employment, they begin to understand. However, I think this method will be much more burdensome for the employees. However, I think I can imagine a series of town hall meetings with educational elements. For example, it's a 30-minute presentation within the scope of the actual work done in the city. And the rest of the time, now that you've heard a little bit about the topic, what's important, how do you want it to go? Let's hear from you. I think that's why we're going back to the beginning. What's your goal? Yes, that's how we can exactly know what students and teenagers want to learn and achieve. As you said, putting them in the committee may not be appropriate or not what they want. But I think we have to take a step back and figure out what they want to learn. In particular, like the people who came to Myra, you can meet and talk to those who are interested. Yes, what exactly do you want to achieve through committees, consultancies, etc. ? After that, I think we'll be able to discuss some specific solutions together.

44:26 – 48:12Speaker 4

Yes. As a result of combining several opinions, the most important thing is to communicate with young people and to understand what they really want. It seems to be able to use the existing infrastructure, i.e. government institutions, teachers, youth groups, and non-profit groups that provide citizen participation education programs. Also, through the committee or board of our institution, we can gather the thoughts and opinions of the youth. And the ultimate important thing is to understand what the goals and hopes that teenagers truly want to achieve are and how to express those goals. In other words, rather than providing information, we are thinking about what it means to receive feedback. If people think this is currently a search stage and a process of gathering opinions, I would like to suggest two things. First, I think we need a pathway to gather opinions. I think it would be good to support counselors to deal with the problem. you will be able to approach people in various ways. For example, it may be a good idea to hold a public debate on this topic. Also, I think it is important for employees to participate and discuss in stages. 다음 단계에 대한 여러분의 생각을 듣고 싶습니다 어떤 단계가 적절하다고 생각하시나요 특히 고등학생 연령대의 청소년들이 I wonder what you think if you want to participate. So, in my opinion, I think we need to listen to specific cases. When I investigated this issue, most of the opinions from various communities were in the role of advisers, and like the official committee or advisers, I think the most stable form of the community seems to be the role of advisers. And many people say that they give the same official authority as other people. Not only do they pursue what they want, It gives you the freedom and authority to give advice on what you want. Even when we ask for advice. It's like turning on the TV and telling you that I'm just a lawmaker in the National Assembly. No, it's just for individuals. It's not just for self-development. They're already unique. It is important to acknowledge that they have experiences and perspectives and listen to their voices. So when I ask for opinions, What do you want to do? Instead of asking, I think it's better to suggest options for the various forms we talked about.

No, what I mean is that giving them something to rely on is always helpful. What I really liked about this discussion was that I started with the idea of how to respond to this memo at first, and I was able to come up with additional ideas there. I think I can try similar activities by delivering these ideas to students and teenagers. That way, we might be able to get more ideas.

Yes, it's not something you have to decide. We can decide which work to put in the second place. If it's a long-term plan, we'd like to hear your opinion. But, yes, if you need someone to help you in the search stage, we can help you. However, I hope you understand that there is no one among our employees who wanders around without doing anything. It's not like that. Anyway, there will be some kind of rodent support. You may or may not know exactly what the effect is, but someone will find out. Oh, the microphone problem occurs every time. I can help you in the search stage. I also participated in the Youth Advisory Committee activity last time. I remember that the person in charge was Marion Cass, and I know that she spent a lot of time with the committee. I helped them overcome various difficulties such as government agencies, public meetings, city government structure, budget, and procurement. Yes, of course. Yes, good. Then, are you asking who to nominate? Is there anyone who wants to volunteer? It's okay for me to volunteer, but you don't have to volunteer because I asked you to nominate me as a case. Yes, it's already in advance. I think you've done some research, so I hope you'll be willing to participate. I'd like to be a part of it. Yes. All right. All right. I'm fine. Yes, all right.

You can appoint the mayor and vice mayor. All right. We'll proceed like that. And I'll be back at the hearing later. All right. Thank you, Eric.
