Start free trialTEMPORARY USE PERMIT NO. 26-001 (ALOHA FAIR TUP)
REQUEST: To permit an arts and crafts fair, with live entertainment, that occurs once monthly for a period of five years from 2026-2030. LOCATION: 16121 Beach Boulevard, 92648 (East side of Beach Boulevard, South of Edinger Avenue) Recommended Action: That the Zoning Administrator take the following actions: A) Find the proposed project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15304, Class, 4; and B) Approve Temporary Use Permit No. 26-001 with suggested findings and conditions of approval.
COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 26-005 (PALM AVENUE LIMITED PARKING)
REQUEST: To limit street parking to one hour maximum between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM daily and two hours maximum between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM daily on 3,900 linear feet of public street on the north and south sides of Palm Avenue between Goldenwest Street and Cherryhill Lane. The request includes approximately twenty-seven new “Restricted Parking” signs. LOCATION: Approximately 3,900 linear ft. of public street along the north and south sides of Palm Avenue between Goldenwest Street and Cherryhill Lane Recommended Action: That the Zoning Administrator take the following actions: A) The proposed project is Categorically Exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15303, Class 3; and B) Approve Coastal Development Permit No. 26-005 with suggested findings and conditions of approval.
COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 26-008/ADMINISTRATIVE PERMIT NO. 26-003 (FRICK RESIDENCE)
REQUEST: To demolish 574 sq. ft. and construct 779 sq. ft. resulting in a 2,639 sq. ft. single-story single-family residence at an approximate height of 14 ft. 6 in./ To request a reasonable accommodation pursuant to Huntington Beach Municipal Code Section 17.77 to allow for a 5.4% deviation from the maximum lot coverage to allow for a 205 sq. ft. addition for in-home care sleeping facilities. LOCATION: 16942 Baruna Lane, 92649 (East side of Baruna Lane and South of Davenport Drive) Recommended Action: That the Zoning Administrator take the following actions: A) Find the proposed project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1; and B) Approve Coastal Development Permit No. 26-008/Administrative Permit No. 26-003 with findings and conditions of approval.
COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 25-019 (LE RESIDENCE)-CONTINUED FROM THE APRIL 1, 2026, ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING
REQUEST: To construct a 1,222 sq. ft. addition to an existing single-story single-family residence at an approximate height of 26 ft. 6in. LOCATION: 16611 Edgewater Lane, 92649 (West of Edgewater Lane and South of Morning Star Drive) Recommended Action: That the Zoning Administrator take the following actions: A) Find the proposed project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1; and B) Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 25-019 with findings and conditions of approval.
