All right, so this is case number 2026-080, request from Sage Creek Properties LLC for approval of the plat for Sage Creek PD phase one. Subject property is located on the north side of Goodman Road between Willow Point Drive and Allen Drive. It's currently part of the approved Page Creek PUD. Approval of the plat would allow phase one of the development to be recorded and divided into 32 individual single-family residential lots along with the associated streets and infrastructure. Staff reviewed the plat for compliance with the city's subdivision design standards, including requirements related to streets, easements, drainage, block and lot design, and public facilities. Based on that review, the plat appears to conform to all the applicable standards and provides a necessary layout to support the first phase of development. Planning Commission reviewed this request at its June 29th meeting and recommended approval by a vote of six to zero. As the plat meets all applicable subdivision requirements and supports development within the approved PUD, staff recommends approval of the plat for Sage Creek PD phase one.

This is going to sound a little familiar. It's 2 of the same development. This case number twenty, twenty six, actually, right? One quest stage, create properties LLC for approval. The final plat of stage, create PD base to subject property is located to the north side of given road between will appoint drive and Allen drive. And as part of the approved stage, create beauty. Free will of the flat would allow phase two development to be recorded and divided into forty six individual single family residential lots along with the associated streets and infrastructure staff reviewed the platform compliance, the city subdivision design standards, including requirements related to streets, easements, drainage, blocking lot design and public facilities. Based on that review, the plat appears to conform to all applicable standards submitted, PLAT also shows the residential lot layout and street connections to Willow Point neighborhood to the west. Planning Commission reviewed this request at its June 29th meeting and recommended approval six to zero. Because the PLAT meets the applicable subdivision standard and requirements and supports development within the approved PUD, staff recommends approval of the final PLAT for Sage Creek PD phase two.

Two weeks ago, we had a couple of gentlemen here that were talking a lot about things not being seen quite as fast as maybe they would like or complaining about the infrastructure of 40 years being neglected and everything else. And it really stunned me that NYSAR decided to not do too much on until I got some time to kind of, you know, I think about it some. And I just would like to say, I want to thank them first off for speaking up and I also want anybody who thinks that this city could do better and be better to come up here, be a part of this, stand up there and tell us, this board, what you would like out of it. Because this board is a different board than 40 years past and 30 years past. It's a different board than it was even last year when we were all first elected. We're wiser now, we have a little bit more insight on what's going on, what this city is able to do. And I hope we're able to make a lot of these dreams and wishes come true for the city, because our citizens deserve it. I just want to, again, thank them and make an open call to anybody, Harley, who has any problems with anything that's going on, to make their voices known. It may not always be legally optional, but we always want to hear it to know where we want to go next.

Saturday, also happy to announce that the shelter has been accepted by Mississippi State University for their shelter program, which they will be able to spay and neuter the dogs in our shelters at no cost.

Alderman Bostic had asked me, and we talk about transparency, where we are with our 23-24 audit. Just want to put that out. We have worked very closely with the Durell Group. Michael Little, he had some delays on some other audits that he had taken care of. He does have everything in hand. He sent me an email today saying that they will pull some additional samples from payroll and court fines tomorrow and that he will see where we are with that point, at that point. and after doing so he will have a better idea of how much longer it will take to wrap 23-24 audit up and then he will jump right into 24-25 which we have prepared him with those documents knowing what would need it outside of samples in advance so Hopefully, once this gets wrapped up, we'll be able to jump right into fiscal year 24-25 audit.
