All right. All right, welcome everybody to the Hillsboro Township Planning Board public meeting of Thursday, May 7, 2026. Uh, everybody join salute to the flag to the flag of the United States of America to the republic for it stands nationy and justice for all.

Okay. Okay. This meeting has been duly advertised according to section five of the open public meetings act chapter 231 public law 1975 otherwise known as the sunshine law. Notice of the 2026 annual meeting schedule has been provided to the officially designated newspapers. The township clerk posted on the township's website and available at the Hillsboro Township Municipal Complex. Application documents have been made available on the township township's website at least 10 days in advance of this meeting. Complete application files are available in the planning and zoning department for inspection in accordance with the public meeting notice. With that may have a roll call of all planning board members and professionals.

I know. Yes. Um, okay. Moving on. Planning board business. uh master plan open space recreation element survey. Mr. Kis, would you want to elaborate? It is currently open. It's open till the 17th. Please take the survey as soon as you can to help us shape the master plan. Go right on the Hillsboro Township website and you will find it. Uh moving on again, uh master plan interactive workshop. Mr. Kis want to

on Wednesday the 13th. It starts at 7:00 and we're looking forward for the public to participate in in the master plan process and we're encouraging as many board members to participate as well. We're looking to get some different uh members from various committees and we're looking forward to seeing everyone. Is that in the multi-purpose room or is that in here? That will be in the multi-purpose room. Multi-purpose room.

It'll be in a a somewhat round table format kind of like uh speed dating. There will be uh a number of tables somewhere around eight uh with various themes of uh open space and we'll have moderators and questions and audio visuals. Uh so it'll start with an overview. Then we'll have the the workshop and anybody from the public is uh valued to uh participate and give their input and ideas and conversely if there's anything that they need to to know. But we don't want to want to keep it uh quick uh and and point it and not get too too far into it because we'll have a time uh limit otherwise you know we can do this all night.

Uh no preparation is necessary for the public to participate. It'll start in a large group format. It'll go into smaller groups be facilitators to help uh the small groups understand what what we're asking of them and it'll give people voices to uh to ask questions to you know give give their point of view and then we'll go from one table to another and then we'll finish the evening with an overall visioning session and uh and we're looking forward to it.
