Okay, consent item motion passed. Moving on to our next item is items for consideration is our Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program honoree selection. Are we ready for the presentation?

Hi, yes, we have a presentation. Good evening, chair and committee members. Tonight we'll be going over the quarterly nominations for the Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program. As a refresher for the program, I'll be going over a brief presentation. The Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program recognizes residents who have made exterior improvements or enhancements to their home, which contributes to the curb appeal and charm of Hesperia's neighborhoods. Features that the committee considers during selection include manicured landscaping, drought tolerant landscaping, rockscaping, flowers, plants, and trees, driveway resurfacing, window enhancements, exterior paint, and overall curb appeal. Program guidelines include the following. Only Hesperia residents may be nominated. Self-nominations are allowed. Nominations must include a nomination form as well as before and after photos. Nominations are considered for a 12-month period at which point applicants may reapply if not selected and city employees or anyone affiliated with or a representative of the city are not eligible. The price package includes $1,000 in gift cards. This quarter, we're awarding the honoree $400 for Harbor Fright, $400 for Ace Hardware, and $200 for affordable decorative rock in Cal Herbal's Nursery. In addition to the gift cards, the honoree will also receive a Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program YAR sign. This concludes my presentation. I'm available for any questions, but if there aren't any, please feel free to begin reviewing the nominations for ranking, and when you are ready, I'll be reviewing instructions for our scoring rubric. My question was, to rank them, it was just the nomination and what number we wanted them at, right?

Correct. So you will just be listing them in order from top to bottom. You won't be saying the nomination number like 243, 344. I'll be going over in depth instructions if you'd like in just a moment. Let me go ahead and. Okay. So, yeah, so CAC members are going to rank the houses on their personal scoring sheets and then just share the rankings from top to bottom. So let's say you happen to say the rankings are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. In order for those nominations, you will just list the number of the ranking, if that makes sense.

So number one would be five, like for instance, right? Mm-hmm. Okay.

I think I need further clarification. So let's say I choose number two to be number one. Would that be nomination one, too?

So let me just really quick. This isn't an official account for anyone watching, but let's say nomination number two. You'd like that as one. So. you would just read that off as, okay, let's say nomination number one you want as ranking number five, and let's say nomination number two you want as ranking number one, you would just read off like five, one, and then go straight down. Perfect, thank you. Of course.

Yeah, I just want to add thank you, staff. Thank you, Arlene. Let's try to get that number 10 next time, right? One recommendation, though, there was one house that was very, very nice, but they had like a far picture. I would just recommend maybe they upload two, you know, maybe give them some suggestion to have more than one upload, right? Yeah. You might instruct them to take their pictures from the same angle before and after, because sometimes it doesn't give us the full picture of what we're seeing.

But either way, great job, because I believe we were just getting around four of them, and we got those numbers up to nine. So whatever marketing and strategic plan you have is working, so keep it up.
