Welcome to the city of Hampton, Mayor and City Council special call meeting for the public hearing agenda for July the 14th, 2026, held here at 530 PM in Council Chamber City Hall, 17 East Main Street, South Hampton, Georgia. At this time, we're going to do a roll call. We currently have Council Member Marty Meeks and Council Member Chaney joining us. this is a public hearing the new business for item two is public hearing for the purpose of approving resolution 2026-49 to transmit the capital improvement element annual updates to the Atlanta Regional Commission copies of the document will be available at Hampton City Hall 17 East Main Street South Hampton Georgia 30228 Ms. Wanda do you have anything

Good evening, everyone. I'd just like to share this is our annual CIE abbreviation for the update for the city's expenditures and collections and management of our impact fees. Impact fees that are collected by the city are park and recs, public safety and administrative cost fees that are also collected. this report uh transmittal is just to include fiscal year 2025 which is beginning october 1st 2024 ending september 30th 2025. prior year's collections are in fund balance on fiscal year 2024 parking wrecks was 79 499.25 public safety collections balance was $94,529.20. The impact fees collected in fiscal year 2025, total for park and recs, $50,592.75. Public safety collections were $103,162.79. And for clarification, the city collects impact fees upon issuance of building permits, not land disturbance. At the end, the balance on fiscal year 2025 after expenditures remains for parks and rec at $104,049.43. Public safety is $152,896.61. And again, the resolution that will be before mayor and council is to transmit our report to Atlanta Regional Commission and DCA for their review, as well as the CIE is released to other jurisdictions for comment. And then we'll be brought back before mayor and council, hopefully no later than September so we can get it adopted by a fiscal year in this year. Thank you very much. Thank you, Miss Wanda.
