Had a chance to review them? Okay. Are there any corrections to the minutes as they were distributed? No updates?

I was looking for the corrections, but I'm looking for the video.

Oh, I'll check on that. I think we had it in a Zoom, so maybe I need to ask them to put it up.

SO TYPICALLY THIS HAS BEEN THE hasn't changed for many years and it is a forever document. So I suggest that we just keep it similar and recognizable. The front page is your names are all spelled correctly. Everybody's name is good. Okay. The second page just is a debt, like just a regular document. And then this information, the street listing where it gives the street name and the location comes from the assessor's office. and it has the most updated copy in it. And I did, um, go through it with Tammy to make sure that we are correct with it. But yes, that's basically, um, what's the next part of the book. And then the people are the listed in there by alphabetical order and by street. But I didn't include that, but I did do the check and all of the information came from the extract, which I provided to the vendor.

I don't know the names of the, um, new streets, but there's a whole new development in North Grafton. Um, and I, I don't know the name of the streets though.

It's like a whole, whole new development there, you know, it's huge.

Like they literally carve the streets out of the woods. So I hope they're included in there. That's all I'm saying.

We'll move to item number four, the voter registration, August 22nd. If anybody wants to be present for that, I will be out of state, so I can't attend. Um, I know you did one already Rachel back in may. I think it was right. Yes.

It's no problem. We have in-person early voting. We're fully staffed that day, but it was just another opportunity to loop you in.

All right. Next item, number five, scheduling a meeting to count the federal write-in absentee ballots received outside the United States. Is that also the UOCAVA? Okay. So it's for both those types. They're two different types of ballots, correct? Okay. So we're looking at doing that Wednesday, September 2nd, the day after primary. We just need to pick a time to meet.

i don't know what everyone's schedule looks like on september second i'd like to do it like late during the morning or early afternoon so that i can have a few minutes in the morning with election day stuff yeah sure does anybody what's everybody's what do your schedules look like on september second um

Yeah, I have one question. Sure. In terms of, you know, I mean, we get a lot of hypermedia coverage around actions and, you know, all this concern about it and all of that. And, uh, you know, and, and, uh, being correctly. So is there any guidance from the state, um, on any of this feedback that's going on?

Um, so I do have weekly meetings with the state. Um, and we just, we, I mean, I haven't had any feedback in my office. I haven't had any. contacts where anything's been any anybody hasn't i mean nobody's contacted the office with any concerns our office okay um so there's no extra preparation of any type well i feel like i'm fairly prepared to answer all the questions because i do attend the weekly training and i'm pretty versed on the elections and the roles that I'm supposed to fill for those.

Okay. I'm confident in Tom Afton's election process dates, but I was just wondering if there were any extra preparations being made for election fall.

So, I'm not sure what preparations you're wondering about. Like, do you mean a confrontational voter or like if something was mishandled in the office?

Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of media coverage around some of the concerns that, you know, that may incite people or intervene or interfere with the elections. I mean, if I'm just raising this as an issue because people in our town are seeing the same coverage I'm seeing and they may have concerns about

what we are doing in grafton to make sure that things are um are safe you know so maybe we should put this on another agenda item um because this wasn't on this agenda i don't want to have an open meeting law issue because this wasn't a foreseen discussion so i i we could have it we could have this discussion we can schedule another meeting and then i can just share the preparation that we do, would that make you feel comfortable?

No, that's fine.

I think it's worth discussing further at another meeting. It's fine.
