Um I know one thing that we have to decide to is what we are going to put in for insurance. that work. There is a height on the agenda for establishing a reserve account for $900,000 for health insurance, but they also need to decide what we want to budget for health insurance. We had that presentation the other day and what we're looking forward to put in and not sure if anyone had any thoughts on that but we should wrap that up. So if you want to get back to me and let me know my thoughts as well. But that's really we don't see anything other than the cyber security measures that we need to implement.

And we'll start our regular meeting of the city of Prince County Council for Monday, November 10th, 20 To the flag of the United States of America and to the stands nation for all right Now three minute period opportunity to address the economic council open to public comment. Please step forward state name address time for public comment as my whole council group and not single council person comments. Also like to remind you that this comment period is not a dialogue or conversation. It's simply open. Either you two gentlemen like it say no public comment we will go to committee reports I council I have a report technology today and pulling up my Um, it's one of those notes things where it's like everything from the past. transition to the government domain. Um they're testing uh the email with that right now. Um so uh best continuous should be in place in next month. Um uh story techniques.

I I get asked a question about you know in a lecture you would get new people but we have emails that like I'm the board but Dan will you know in the future be the career board. So I was asking what is the best practice for that and they they were saying that the best practice is actually for us to have emails that are associated to us personally. like instead of third quarter. So we're going to take a look at how we want to transition that recommendations to have some continuity like if I had the same email as you I could go back and look. Yeah, that was helpful for me when I uh when uh Jamie was the council person, I was able to go back to that sort of jump on some discussions. So I don't know if that either.

I next item on the agenda is from the mayor. There's two items from the mayor's office. Would either one like either one of these or discuss. All right. Hearing none. Resolution to approve and announce the schedule of special talk on Tuesday, November 25th, at 6:15 p.m. at city hall. Street mayor's conference to approve second favor. Resolution to approve the authorization of the focus office to reserve funds for the changes to our health insurance plan for fiscal year 2026 in amount $900,000. Decreasing account 17 by $900,000 and increase A899 to $900,000. Motion to approve, please.

All right. on the agenda is Department of Works for this session. All right. Resolution to approve to transfer monies to cover costs for motor vehicle repairs parts for the remainder of 2020. Sure. So, um I Yeah, I was looking at the um the resumes or the ones. I don't think to be honest with you, this is just my opinion. I don't think we should look at the ones that I think that's setting, you know, setting yourself standards. Um so um I I know Emily has some thoughts on that that she would like seven people and um so we need two more and then we also talked about maybe having another city official just in case obviously there's a conflict of interest somebody else. Um and um I mean as far as how you pick them is really up to the council um who you decide to go with and you know and ideally I I do have a training scheduled um that I actually just got the flyer for today from Nikon for December 2nd. So ideally it would be great if we can get those appointments if not at least the one and if you know it's great but at least for the next time a council meeting but then it would be a great way to roll those board members into a training um December. So if I'm understanding correctly, council is going to give another ideally of the other two one person.

Yeah, because there is no and also there is no board restriction like there isn't you have to have certain words. Um, it's just so easy to hear. I do call to someone ask so if they don't say yes. So then we don't actually have to do it. It'll be on and I think that person

um I this is new business. Um I just wanted to you know uh congratulate everybody that won in the most recent election and also to thank all the people that came forwardly because it's you know it's hard to go through this process and it's a lot of work and um we recognize that. I have a couple new business. Uh, Councilman and I will be up right early at 5:30 cooking breakfast at the host. Uh, the veterans are having Veterans Day breakfast here from 7 to 10. It's $5 for veterans and free for veterans. Um, And the ceremony is at 11:00. Hopefully we stop but we'll see. It's been work set. So um and then um I also wanted to say that the collaborative opened up registration for the holiday house decorating contest. Um so that's opening up right now and to um we also are closing out South Street from Glenn to El for some water sewer service from 11:12 to 11:13 uh uh for water and sewer work done. And I want to um piggy back off my council of commerce comments about the soccer team as an alumni of soccer team. It's incredible deceased how far they've come in and some of those I remember coaching. So um in the right to see them, great to see coach Scher really know and hopefully that they can win states. The team's very talented this year. So, um, and also class B boys football team is not sure at all.

We semifinals. That's awesome.
