Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

First two weeks, first week went to Buster. Second one to Savannah, other sister. Pep almost won last week. Between Houston and Houston won, Piper won. Yeah, I just do more fantasy le this year and she's not doing great. Are you a Houston fan like you are Astros? Oh, Texans. Yeah, Texans actually rocking. But Astros, they blew it. Huh? Texans blew it. I know. Completely blew it. But when it comes to sports, baseball, nobody blew it like the Broncos, though. They got screwed up.

I know that. That feels like one of those things probably happens every other goal attempt and it never gets called. The game was that Dallas game. Oh, that was a great freaking game. You see game like that once a year. But that scared me cuz the defense like god awful man. Daniel Jones. I mean, you just don't see games like that anymore. Yeah, I know. That was a great game that Yeah, it was good. I couldn't think I I didn't like either one of the teams. So, it it's an excession.

It doesn't seem like So Kathy and Chris probably won't be here. probably not text does not respond with text messages usually. So uh on the uh we've weekend one way where we're going to have barricades all along those Yes. barricading the actual the neighborhood. Yeah. But there's those blue barricades and on the map it says that it would allow local traffic through, but I don't see red people assigned there. I was wondering how are those going to get people in and out without a human being there.

Uh people will move them if they get there and then probably me or someone will be checking them and putting them so it'll just be residents can move them.

That's why we have rangers and troopers coming in to do this. They will be at the roundabouts and well, okay, we've requested and signed a contract with Idaho Springs and Superers to manage the I70 exit and the roundabout only. They will be um but those officers have to sign up for those shifts and if they don't then we won't have people there. So like we've done what we can to request law enforcement backup for those areas, but whether or not they will show up is sort of out in the air. We're pretty confident the troopers will, but we're not so sure about the Iowa Springs. I thought we were calling in rangers as well.

The rangers are we cannot work with them directly. They are subject to the sheriff's department. So I'm going to request a ranger to be at the Sticks and Rose intersection because I think that one's one that needs to be managed a little bit. Um and then if no one's at the roundabout, they'll If you need help, let me know. Okay. Well, you already know that, but Well, if you want to sign up for a barricade, that's the thing I'm asking people for. I'll sign up for the barricade on Griffith. Street that I live on that my daughter almost got ran over. But they're trying to keep people from even getting getting one blocked over because we're not letting people even get that.

But those those barricades from 7th to 15th right now, it's just if you live in there, you can move it and drive in. But you know these are going to do. Yeah. They did that last year. So, we put people at a strategic one that we think people will try to cut
