City Charter Consideration - Decision Regarding the Placement of the Proposed City Charter on the November 3, 2026, Election Ballot for Consideration by the City of Fremont Voters
Recommendation: Receive the staff report and direct staff to proceed with one of the following options: 1. Defer consideration of a charter to a future election and continue the community dialogue; or 2. Approve the proposed City Charter measure and adopt a resolution calling for the election and approving submittal of a Charter for the City of Fremont for consideration at the November 3, 2026 election.
