recording. So, whatever you're Okay. All right. Is your mic on? Yeah, it is. Yeah. Um All right. Go ahead and call the meeting to order. It's 9:01 on May May this is old 13th. So going to do a roll call. Katie Souls, Bill Palmer, Parks Thompson, Lori Hannon, Greg Beckler. All right. Is this Oh, no. This is here. Okay. So, um let's go ahead and do approval of the agenda. So, moved. Second. All right. All in favor? I Okay. Um moving on to the consent agenda, the meeting minutes from last month. Any comments or questions about the meeting minutes from April? Okay. Um uh move to approve the consent agenda and the minutes from last month. So moved. So moved. Seconds. Second. All right. All in favor? I I open for any anyone online or anyone who wants to Okay, we'll move on to discussion. So do you want me I can I'll say it. Yeah. So unfortunately, as of May 31st, I will no longer be eligible to be on the DDA. Oh, you moved. I'm moving. Yeah, I move June 1st. So I unfortunately have to resign um from as both the chair and the DA itself. So Oh, darn it. I know. So I'll be here for two more weeks. I will stay whatever

5:02 – 7:020

you guys need up until May 31st, but we will need to mention her husband's much more difficult commute. Yeah, he's he's already talked about it. Where are you moving? We're moving up county already. Awesome. Yeah. So, it's a good thing. It's a good thing, right? We're really No. Okay. Not Not in this economy. That's crazy. That's crazy. All right. All right. So, okay. Um, we do need to uh appoint a new chair. Um, yeah. Resigning as of May 30. Yeah. And then we can appoint a new chair at that time. Um, so if you want to go ahead and still submit a formal Yeah. I sorry. Yeah, this is crazy. I was technically because you are no longer eligible. Yeah. Your seat just gets vacated. Okay. So, a new chair for sure though. Yes. So, we can appoint a new chair that would be effective starting May 31st. Yeah. Um and that chair would be in that position until October. So, our bylaws state that all officers get elected in odd years in October. So, for this first go around, people had a shorter stint. And then starting in October 2025, um those terms would run for two years. Um we'll also need to go in front of the board of trustees like we did the last time when Angie resigned. My recommendation, especially at this point, it would once again be that we as a board that the board recommends to the board of trustees that we wait and we fill that seat in October. Um when we have some other seats up then and we can determine. We started with a pretty large board at 11. So I think I mean that's only a couple months away. We can determine the board of trustees can determine if they want to go back to an 11 member board or potentially a smaller board at nine members. Um because we have one or two seats or I just pulled that up. Yeah, I think we have four seats. We'll

6:59 – 8:540

have four seats available in October including the two designations. So, Angie, yeah, mine because we both designed them to that ended the terms ended. Yeah, just actually have it up on my computer. Oh, was it if it was ENG then uh Yeah, I think it is Bill. Yeah, Bill's expires and uh Tiffany expires in 2021. Bill and Tiffany. Okay. Yeah. Um, and so that will be up to the board of trustees. Obviously, Bill and Tiffany are welcome to keep their name in the hat if they'd like to continue serving. Um, and then again, we can determine if we want to go to a nine member board or 11 member board, in which case we'd fill four seats. So, back to chair. Um, that is appointed by this board. Uh so if folks are interested, if anybody wants to nominate somebody, um if the co-chair is interested, um then we would need a co-chair. So I know we're short a couple people, too. So we can definitely do it today. Um I suppose we could also discuss it and then do it at our June meeting. So again, this appointment is through October. Yes. Where there's another full election. Yeah. Tiffany, maybe reiterate what's going on for her. So, I'm resigning because I'm no longer eligible to be on the board. So, we're looking for a new chair. That's where we're at.

8:54 – 10:540

Um, so yeah, I will leave this to you guys for discussion. I don't know that I really need to participate or my input because it's for you guys forward. Is there much to discuss if we're waiting till October or should we? Well, the idea is we need a chair, but that chair is would be up for reelection, reappoint October. So, it's really just filling that chair. Yeah. It's like an interim position until the next month, right? Yeah. I mean, I'd be willing to do it. I have a little less on my plate than I used to. Then we would need a replacement. But then we're gonna have to have a replacement for me, which is fine. Exactly. Um I vote for anybody under 70 or under I'll be 70. I mean honestly anybody under 70 age near his birthday Greg would be I would I would glad I would gladly support Parks in uh being the new chair through October if he's got time. Okay. Okay. Nice. Do we have anyone who would like to participate as co-chair? Excellent. So over here and then we will still need his position. Okay. And again your commitment is only till October. I mean obviously you could keep your hat in for reelection reappoint in October. But said we could just start. Oh, we can make you LFO. Wait, did she just say she had her baby? She just did. Sorry. I've been out of town for a while. Aby's really got Congratulations you kind of what you've been doing and what your responsibilities. Mostly mine is, let's just say it's it's it's in the community. It's a little bit more you

10:52 – 12:500

can get out there and promote. It's it's personto person. Um if they need support, they call or they ask what I think of something. It's really fairly easy at the moment. Um the reason I had signed up for four years of this is because I knew that there would be more responsibilities added. Yeah. So, I think in till October, you're pretty safe in this chair. It's pretty pretty easygoing. And I'm happy to read the official duties of the vice chair. Um, the vice chair shall perform the duties of the chair in the absence or incapacity, resignation, or death of the chair. The vice chair shall perform the duties of the chair until such time as the authority shall select a new chair. The vice chair shall be elected in the same manner and at the same time as the chair. So early on, I feel like it was a little more of um inviting perks when Lori and I would talk about the agenda and stuff like that. Um I feel like intentionally or unintentionally that kind of fell off just in scheduling and and getting things together. So yeah, um if you'd like to be more involved as the vice chair, I think there's room for that. But officially you step in when Lauren can't be at a meeting or something of that nature. Yeah, it's pretty easy to run a meeting. Um the terminology is the only thing right. So the flow of the meeting and then keeping time I think was the harder part for sure. Yeah. We got better at it. Yeah. No, you're great at it. So yeah, I I don't think that my I think that my position until October will be fairly easy here as the vice chair. If anybody does want to step in, anybody? I totally would, but my chair is up in July, I believe, for October. October. Oh, it is up. So, it'll be the same time. Well, I

12:46 – 14:460

could One of the things you missed was that people who are up in October can apply to you and Phil, your seats are up in October. You are obviously welcome to keep your, you know, hat in the ring. So um and continue on but be reelected. Yes. Re so the members are appointed by the board. We'll have them reappoint. Okay. Or appoint members of the board and then we would do the officer election group. Yep. And I would don't speak for them but I would guess the board would appreciate continuity. I would think so as well. In particular for people who only have the opportunity to be in for one year. It just makes sense because the learning curve is Yeah. Not insignificant. Yeah. Exactly. That would be my thing. Yeah. If no one else wants to be it, I can step in to be the vice chair. Thanks. Yeah. I like it. You're great. So, um, do we need How does that have to work? I would entertain a motion. I was thinking that, too. And the vice chair. Okay. So, we'll do two two separate ones. Yeah. So, um, a motion to fill the chair position with parks, um, up until October, um, for the elections. Um, does anyone have a want to make a motion? I'll make that motion. Second. All right. All in favor? I I I Thank you. I um All right. Congratulations. All right. So, um, second motion, uh, motion for vice chair to be appointed, um, Tiffany up until October, um, and re-elections. Um, he wants to make a motion. So, move second. All right. All in favor? I

14:42 – 16:410

I I All right. I Thank you. All right. We now have our chair and vice chair. Um, anything else before we move on to the next topic? Okay. Um, pop-up collaboration. Thank you both. Yes. Thank you for Thank you for stopping for second. Thank you. Yeah. I'm I'm very very sad I'm leaving. This was unexpected. Yeah. I really was actually You're still welcome to come to Yeah, exactly. I mean, I'll pick up trash. Oh, I I'll absolutely volunteer and be part of it, but you're still looking. You can be our public engagement now. Yeah. Yes. You can still come to the meeting and be our only community members. Absolutely. So Lori, maybe um we could actually switch and have the chamber go first. center is supposed to be here, but um unless she's online here. Okay, hi everyone. My name is Megan. I lift this up so you don't bend over. Oh, it moves. Nice. My name is Megan Anderson. I work at the Winter Park and Fraser Chamber. I am the special events director. I'm just here to talk to you guys about a fun event that we're doing this summer. Um, we're teaming up with Bonfire Entertainment, who uh produces uh Why am I blinking? That's okay. They they do a big show in Steamboat. Uh, of course. And what are they called? Bonfire Entertainment. Wonder Winter Wonder. It's a big deal. Bonfire production. Bonfire Entertainment

16:38 – 18:370

Entertainment. Sorry. And then um also AEG. So, they're a big uh producer. Yeah. As well throughout the country. Um for a two-day concert, we're still working out Friday night, but the um headliner for Saturday is Paul Cawin, who's a big guy from Texas. So, it's the concert piece of it will be fun, but I'm here to talk to you about the community engagement piece. Um we're looking for businesses, individuals to help us engage the people that come to this event. Um either do bikes, hikes, guided group tours kind of thing to um help get people to know our community and see how fun it is and how relaxed it is. I'm not clear on what event you're talking about. It's called Rebel in the Park. Rebel in the Park. It's on August 8th and 9th. Sorry, I got ahead of myself. Yeah, that's okay. I'm seeing myself on the TV. We make people nervous. It's okay, Megan. Normally, when I'm on the stage, I can't see myself. So, we're an easy group. Paralyzes the small children at the church. They're like, "Sorry, where is this at? Where are you? Is that is this at Rendevu?" The concert itself is at Rendezv Center. Um, but like I said, we're trying to get it to be a big community event, big weekend for the whole community. Um, Megan, I'll just jump in real quick. Sorry, I probably should have done a little bit of an introduction, but the chamber reached out um both uh Rebecca Rudell, who's on the board, um and is part of Frasier Valley Distilling, and then Katherine Ross reached out um about this event, Revel in the Park that they're doing and looking for a way to kind of include Frasier in the weekend and

18:35 – 20:330

activating downtown. and they had some different ideas um and thought that the DDA might be a good partner to help yeah execute this as part of our mission um in part to to activate downtown. So we have invited Megan here to present on Revel in the Park and give you a little bit of information on what that weekend looks like and some of their ideas about how Frasier could perhaps and the DBA could perhaps be involved. Yes. So this is due to how many people will be in town for this event, right? like we're going to need them to spread out a little bit that and we just we don't want it to just be an event at Rondoo Event Center. We want people to explore Winter Park in Frraasier and the county at large, you know, we want people to all that our community has to offer and we don't want to just have them stuck in the event center. I can agree with that. Um what's the date? It's August 8th and 9th. So that the second weekend in August. Um we're also working with the ski area. They're giving us I think a discount on gondola rides and um there'll be like a little uh VIP area for people that have tickets up at What time does the concert at the park start every day? Friday is a little later in the day. I think the gates open at like 4:00 and Saturday the gates will open around 2:00 I think. So there's a lot to be done in the morning then. Yes. And so our idea or something like that. Yeah. Our idea for Frraasier was to capture people on Sunday before they leave and do like a progressive brunch. Maybe something in the mural park was an idea like a fitness activity maybe. Um, and these are just ideas you guys know your community too, so you can sure come up with whatever you think will work. Um,

20:31 – 22:310

uh, I think Birdie Lounge was interested in maybe doing like a Bloody Mary bar and then we thought maybe people could go from one place to another and kind of hop around Frraasier. Oh, cool. I could see it like, you know, bring your ticket from Rebel in the Park and get like a dollar off or something like that. Yeah. And like the roaster you could do like a to- go burrito or something, you know, if you have a ticket. Yeah. Anything really you guys think about, we're open to. We don't want to you guys to have to reinvent the wheel for it, you know. We just want it to be an added value. And a way to get more people into businesses. Mhm. Is is there a website for Revel in the Park that people can like go to and click on and see what's available in any of the businesses send us their idea. We will put it on our website for Revel in the Park which is where everybody so Bonfire and AEG they're sending people to our website for this event. So, our website is the only place to get information about this. Um, and uh, sorry, someone's calling me. Um, so you'll get a lot of website traffic as well if you participate. Um, because our website is the only place people are going for this information. Um, Abby said something about a wagon rides. Yeah, that would be cool, too. Yeah, a wagon race. Wagon rides, right? Horse rides. Tiffany, I'm I'm calling you out on that, Tiffany, since you do that. Hi, Abby. Yeah. Yeah, I can definitely um uh get some one of my friends has a carriage business. That would be awesome. Um Grand Lake carriage tours, so we could do that. That would probably

22:28 – 24:270

be a discussion with the town um for permission and everything like that. When do they typically do them? Um, they have permits with Grant, the town of Grand Lake and, um, uh, gosh, Smith Creek Crossing, whatever that is now, Riverrun. Okay. Um, but yeah, they have all the legalities to do it anywhere. They just need permission from the property, Oregon. Huh. Yeah. Yeah, she would love to do that. Yeah. I'm just trying to envision it. Like is it through like downtown Frasier or along? Probably be something like depending on outside of Frasier. Um like exactly the specifics. Um but it would probably be something like five bucks for a carriage tour around the block or something like that. We could even buyers ranch would be a cool thing because you could go on that dirt road and maybe function out of where those horses are um on mill. I you know 10 years 15 years ago they used to do those on in downtown Winter Park and used to park behind carvers. I don't know if I'm imagining that but there was winter horse carriage rides near Cooper Creek. That did happen. Um, Town of Warner Park would be familiar with that permitting, but I think something similar could be really cool for Frasier. I do like that idea because then it brings people out of town to show them the rodeo grounds and the uh bike trails. Yeah. And it's really pretty, right? Right. Yeah. And that's county. So I think that is completely open for it could start in I could talk to Craig and see if it could start in where the roaster is since there's enough space there to start on that back road in parking or right there. Yeah, cuz you're going to need

24:24 – 26:220

that. Yeah, I like that. Okay. Yeah. Do they ride on the road? Is a carriage ride, but that's on the road, not on a trail. Correct. Yeah. I don't think there's any trails around here that would be large enough for a carriage. So, it' have to be a road. Yeah, that's a great idea. Anything anything like that, we're open to it. We don't want to force any ideas on anyone. Think about um it sounds like Megan though that the chamber will also is also available to reach out to businesses and try to coordinate that. For sure. whatever we can offer and provide, but they will also kind of be the boots on the ground. Reaching out, we can help like with timing and say, "Oh, this is probably a good time to do it." And help with signups or I don't if there's like for the carriage ride, if there's not a way to sign up through the company, we can work on how to have people sign up. Um, yeah. Are you guys having uh vendors? There will be vendors in the park for the concerts. Yeah. Okay. Um Bonfire is in charge of recruiting the vendors though, so we're not we're going to we'll probably send them some local people that come to our events. And Abby, if you want me, I can send their information to you if you want if you're interested. Yeah, that that'd be great. I mean, we have a wilderness retreat that weekend, so we'll have our horses in the back country and and um doing that. And I think most of my clients actually want to go to the concert, so I have to figure that out. Concert. Yeah. Manita Rider is into town. There's already there's always lots of stuff going on. Anything going on at the resort that weekend or they just planning on this being their weekend

26:20 – 28:190

event runs or anything? They do dogs that weekend. So they normally do the dock dogs um for their venture outfest, but they're kind of rebranding venture out. So they're the dock dogs will be happening, I think, on Friday. Great. And that just is right there at the base. Then you put up that pool. Yeah. And it's just there. It's just added value. And that's the whole what we're trying to do. We're just trying to give people lots of things to do that really emphasize our community and who we are. I was just thinking about conflicts like on trails and roads. Will there be um uh any races that weekend that could conflict in terms of if we do something off of a dirt road somewhere or Not that I know of. I I have to look on their comp center calendar. I don't know if that's the weekend the comp center does their um bike race through town like up here. Um I forget what that one's called. I'll I have to talk to Tanya anyway. So, but if any I don't think we're we're not doing anything up in that area. I think we'll just do some guided hikes maybe um in Winter Park like fast and we haven't worked out the logistics of that but we'll work around whatever is already existing. Yeah. Um and we are working on some like sustainability activations for the Fraser River Trail. Um, so we're going to work with like uh headarters center and they might have a booth on the frag river trail for a couple hours each day to give information about um the fra and uh our the winter town of winter parks sustainability coordinator will be there talking about her initiatives and um so it'll just be a fun weekend. I think we could look at a historical tour. Yeah. Yeah, that's a good idea. Yeah, you know, just a walk about town and Yeah. Merkantal and Duzies and Yeah, that would be great. The Mexican restaurant,

28:18 – 30:170

which is old stage coach stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that would appeal to a little different age group. Yeah, probably. I think that would be fun. Anything you guys are thinking of? Um I have some business cards so you can I'll hand them out. You guys can email me if you have any other ideas after thinking about it a little bit. Um, but yeah, one of the big thing that we were talking to Rebecca about Rebecca Rudell um was like a progressive brunch or something on on on Sunday morning before people leave to get people to experience downtown Frasier. Um, so I don't know if I have an idea. What about maybe activating cousins meadow where you could do like a like a yoga or something in the morning? You do carriage rides maybe from there. You could be like, "Oh, do a little walking tour to you walk down to the distillery or birdie or whatever, but kind of have a maybe kind of a starting location." Yeah. Um, and can activate out from there. Just an idea. Yeah, probably construction of thought. Yeah, nice place, but it's not very big. But then there's the always the parking issue also at C. When you say dad out in the meadow, is that buyers peak ranch meadow? No. No. Cousins. I mean cousins. Lake Mary's pond. Yeah. Gotcha. By the lion's ponds or over there. Okay. Cool. We had all those projects done

30:14 – 32:130

this year. Be perfect. But a lot of construction back every year. Yeah. Cool. Well, then we can grow it. Yeah. Awesome. I'll throw to um the next well the previous agenda I was supposed to speak I talked with the rec center about some ideas around possible popups in Mural Park for the summer. Um it could maybe be kid focused but with the idea that that park doesn't get a lot of use most of the time apart from mural park weekend. So maybe if there was something that the parents could bring the kids to and then they can, you know, grab a coffee, breakfast, burrito, whiskey, you know, whatever it may be. It's just kind of ideas to try to get people to park and I know they have been looking at some different kind of pop ideas were supposed to be presenting. So I did fail to follow yesterday. So I'll check in with them about that. I know they again the district. Yeah. Yeah. I was talking to Yeah. Um so the black line will it be running every half hour this summer? You think so? We know mur a kid-friendly mural park idea would be like sidewalk chalk. Kids do out obviously I can see it from my house. Um what's that? Sidewalk chalk. Like they bring chalk and they like draw on the sidewalk on the on the atm park because it's up ton of concrete because it's not really like grassy. It's like mostly concrete. Like that would be a good use for it and be kind of fun for the kids. Yeah. And it's not a huge space concrete. I know we are getting um some shade sales. Aby's got her hand off. Yep. Oh, sorry it froze. Um is this uh Megan, do you know if this is something they're considering doing yearly with Paul

32:11 – 34:110

Coffin or Okay. Coffin, but the idea. Yes. Is it going to be country focused? Um, yeah. Country kind of outlaw country. Yeah. Paul Coffin pretty outlaw and it predominantly sort of in first weekend of August attempting. Yeah, that's the idea. Okay. We always have to work around when artists are available to. So, it's hard to say that it will be exactly the second weekend every year, but uh for sure. That's for sure. Just to keep it consistent. Yeah. Awesome. Well, thanks, Megan. Yeah. And there will be a full um kids activation in the park that weekend, too. Um Bonfire always has has like a kid zone at their event, so they're building a fun kid zone for people. So it is a family friendly event. it. Anyway, we can talk about it, but this like the mural park would be the place to have our Yeah, I think so. You know, because it's right in the heart of downtown. Decent parking, too. And yeah, and if so long as the bus is running, you know, we can have we know that that um Black Line will be that would be nice coming through Frasier. Mhm. Get like a Frasier Express for that weekend or something that just goes from like Hooper Creek to Fraser and back. an interesting idea and that could be something that the that we could fun. Yeah, I can sorry um transportation like a um uh Frasier Express bus that weekend just for that weekend just from like our creek maybe stops like near um Carvers and then and then come straight to Frasier and back and just that's all it does. Yeah, we can check in with the list about that. I know we

34:08 – 36:070

need to change their shuttle. I know that Catherine actually pointed out she's like you guys pay into the lip system. Um so we may or may not have to pay for it but then definitely I did reach out to the I know Nick um emailed me a while back and was interested in exploring line. I I think I know though that expanded service the black running more often. I think it really comes down to that. Yeah. Um so we can definitely mention that to the list in general. Um, I just don't know if that would it it'd be interesting like especially for like festival weekends to like just do that like just for those events where like you know um this concert um like all of the the concerts just fest and all that stuff cuz then people were probably more likely to like stay in Frasier that's an easy get back and forth then for those weekends. Um yeah, just like an event specific weekend is be helpful a struggle. Yeah. Yeah, we could definitely find part of that. That's what we want more space. Oh, yeah. The pocket park is cute. Yeah. Like I think sorry we could do at the pocket park at Coastal. We could do like cornhole or boti would be fun too. Okay. Um, so which pocket park? So the pocket

36:05 – 37:440

park at Coast Lake. So where my behind B lounge there's a small tiny park. Oh. Between the two buildings. Okay. At Coastal Lake and it's got turf on it. So we could do like cornhole or boti and there's some benches and stuff. It's small but cute. Yeah. Yeah. More space. It's right next to mural park so we could like advertise park stuff and Yeah. Um, nice white park. Great. So great. Thank you. I will get my card for a minute. So our charge is how do we want to um go about coming up with these ideas for Frasier and help like you said is going to reach out. Yeah. But it's not that far away. And thank you. Thank you. Yeah, I was thinking about aligning all of the breweries. See what they want to do if they want to do something. That'd be great. Yeah. You want Okay.

38:03 – 39:550

Yeah. Sunday will stay. Yeah. One more time anything right so if that doesn't work out if whatever you guys can come up with we're happy to promote the progressive Frenchman a good idea I don't know what in your mind over the progressive part. Um well I don't that's other things. I don't know if the distillery is going to be open that day. We we do open on Sundays and we have guess books coming in like for the overhead we go again. Yeah. So we can support that. Yeah. So, the other thing you might consider is wrapping Rebecca Miguel in on this because she's the one who has the list of all the artisans that she invites to the art events like we had one a couple weeks ago and it's at Birdie Lounge at um Simple Coffee at um Autumns. And we can expand it. It can be expanded if there's going to be special brunches at the grocery, etc. She has a list that's so big, we have to cut people off so we could make it much more expansive. Now, it's the week after Euro Festival, right? And she's doing an art event that weekend, right? So, may or may not be a great idea, but it's something to consider. Yeah. So, maybe loop her in. Yeah. I'll talk to her about I've been texting. Okay. Oddly, she's never mentioned it to me. Oh, really?

39:57 – 41:540

She had It's funny. I got an email from her and then a few minutes later. Yeah. Um Yeah. And it even if it's just like free restaurants, like that's still it's still added value, you know. Yeah. I think this is really this and the other things you're discussing with the rest district. It all folds into the theme that I've talked about for a while about what's happening in Winter Park. Actually had a meeting with the mayor and the town manager um to really understand what their long-term plan is and how it affects us. And every once in a while when I drive to Winter Park is going south anyway, I'll drive the back way out of our subdivision through the new part of rendevous and sojourn and it's amazing what's going on there and it's always amazes me. Someone will come into the restaurant who lives here part-time or full time who's never been in. So all these ideas of particular familyfriendly things coming to come to Frasier and see all of us is really I think um constructive what I think is going to happen over the next few years sometime I assume any day now um the retail space at Arrow will be ready to rented out or sold and who knows what'll happen there. That's really great space. Yes, it is. We are willing like if you want to have

41:51 – 43:510

live music at your establishment, we are willing to like compensate for the um I think we said give around like $200 for if someone hires a band. Um and then if like you decide to do a guided hike or something, we would also compensate for doing extra. That's a great deal too. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Yeah. And then we should have a tour. That's what I was I was I wrote down on either Friday earlier in the day or Saturday, you know, midday like a lunch tour. I'll reach out to Andy and Rebecca and get all three of us alive. Yeah. She like that too. Yeah. But it starts at two or four. Or is it all day on Saturday? The gates open at two, right? Yeah. Yeah. with the ide bus. I would also highlight um the home James Brewery tour. Yeah. Like we could highlight that you know that Brian has a new brewery tour where you start either at cool. So, you start at either Big Trout and you this take you to all six breweries or you start at CBER and go backwards, whatever your choice is. And it's not not super expensive. I think

43:49 – 45:390

you get 10 people. It's like 15 bucks a person. Like 150 bucks. This is Yeah. through home. Yeah. But like we could highlight that as an option for also um Absolutely. That'd be great. That' make it easy. Yeah. And that's transportation. That's transportation and also fun. you could see all of the breweries and um the distilleries I think are extra like if you want to hit the distilleries there's an extra charge um but that's not too that's a really good idea any other question for you should we contact home James to contact you guys to advertise it or we could probably just put that on the website because it's our if If Brian wants to like do a deal for the people that are coming for the concert, he Yeah. Um, we can talk to him because we've been working with him on tour a little bit too. Yeah, I can make a note. Yeah. Thank you. It will be a fun. Yeah. Okay. Great. Thank you. Thanks, Megan.

45:47 – 47:450

Cool. June for you guys. Um the next topic is selfie stands, wayfinding, night sculpture real quick. We have in front of you selfie stand. Um, where would you want me to start with the selfie stand or what? Wherever stand and we thought that I'll let her talk about the the background. Um, but the idea was that perhaps the GBA might want to. Thanks, Greg. Great job. Greg's leaving. Um, so this was actually Michael Brick's idea. Um, but I I like it too. So, these selfie stands, I only ordered three of them just to see how they would do. Um, but we're going to place them in scenic spots where people, you know, can set up their phone and Snapchat and then we have like this little sign that you can share the photos on explore Frasier and then we share them um in return. Um, so I guess what I'm looking from you guys is some feedback on where you'd like to put them too. And as Sarah said, also maybe sponsoring one too, which would basically mean we just put, you know, sponsored by, you know, town of Fraser D. Are these made by my QR codes? Are these made by a

47:42 – 49:370

local artist? By John. Yeah, John Henley. Oh, he did your furniture, right? Yeah, he did fire pits at I'm a good friend of his. He's the cool guy. Yeah, but I think that would take um walking around town, too. So, that's a that's a big benefit is that we're supporting a local artist, too, by um buying one of these for the DA. So, I'm in favor of that. Oh, yeah. Well, where do we want to put it? Well, it's got to have a view behind it, right? Right. When that participating I I think, you know, as they're probably a week off, they're probably a week off from being finished. So, we have some time. And even after that, I I want to make sure they're in the right right spot before we put them anywhere. Yeah. Um so, just take your time walking around and maybe, you know, bring your phone with you and and figure out if there's a place to put them. in there. But I've looked I've looked at it and it's just like it's tricky. Um yeah, but I'm not opposed to that either. And in the interum, if we're out walking about and we see a good spot, take a picture. Yeah, take a picture. We can save that. We could send it to Sarah. Yeah. Pin the location, too. meeting, but maybe individually everybody can obviously ideas, but if there were a couple people that wanted to do a walk around maybe sometime next week or the week after

49:41 – 51:390

I'd be happy to participate. Yeah. Yeah. And like I said, I only ordered three, but we can get more, too. I thought three was kind of a good place to start just to see if people are using them. So, I think I think definitely one in the park should be mandatory just because of the picnic in the park. Oh, that's a great idea. I honestly didn't even think of that. It's so obvious, right? No, I was just looking at the mountains and I was like, that's a perfect place like He's there and picnic in the park, right? And then a lot of people come here and that and they could get pictures. Yeah. And then advertise that more too, right? You know, on the the railroad track, we couldn't do it on the plat at the far end on Frasier and then Amtrak and my husband and I took a great shot underneath it when the sun was setting. So, we might consider putting on our fence railing a sign that just says town of Frasier or something with our logo that's not super high, but just right, maybe to help cover, you know, the height would kind of cover the train tracks or something. And you would see the divide above it for how the it's um the photos placed, right? That's the thought. Yeah. There's a lot of people that get out and take pictures. It's like, yeah, just get off, take pictures, right? I was trying to think like even like uh like what's the best bus stop? Like where there's people coming anyway. If there was a shot from like one of the bus stops. Yeah, there's people always hanging out there. But I know which one would be the best one. I like the idea of the little parks by sharkies. Yeah, I was thinking that too. Being proactive and starting to put some stuff like this on the Fraser Trail and uh just because there is natural views all along it whether it's river view or

51:36 – 52:510

it's mountainous view. Um, and it's going to continually be developed. So, being ahead of that and kind of attracting people down to it. Yeah. I think that's pretty smart. So, we have three town parks. We've got our little park by Shark Keys. Uhhuh. Somehow with those views and then on the river trail. Yeah. And I I mean my go-to is always the you know where the bench is and St. St. Louis Creek. Yeah. But not the town of Frasier. It's north, you know, and it's for service. How do we get to the self? Another well I mean obviously I'd get their permission. I've tal talked to them already briefly about another thought is death. He does have somewhat of a following. Yeah. We kind of discussed like the the rail and everything and it is railroad picky but do things and ask for permission. But I mean how is so many people that are even visiting that we can get everyone in my office right there everyone comes out they can get or yeah that's
