Great. Good evening, everybody. Welcome to the city of Montana regular planning commission meeting dated 01/20/2026 here. The eighty four thirty that this meeting is a business meeting. And as such, while the commission welcomes all members of the public to participate in open discussions regarding matters on the set the session's meeting agenda, speakers must conduct themselves appropriately so that the commission has the ability to listen and to consider all of the information and comments related to an agenda item and deliberate on that item in the context that allows for viewpoints to be heard and respected.
Please remember that disturbing a public meeting is a criminal offense. The city of Fontana is authorized by law to ensure that the orderly conduct of this meeting. Engaging in conduct that disrupts this meeting may result in your microphone being muted if disruptions continue, and a request to leave this meeting if the disruptive conduct persist after a warning. Disruptive behavior includes verbal, nonverbal outbursts that prohibits the meeting from the continuing in orderly fashion. Before we begin tonight's meeting, I would like to note for the record that the swearing in of the planning commissioners was originally was originally scheduled on the agenda has already taken place.
City clerk Key has sworn in all five planning commissioner members. Commissioner Dito Sanchez, Ricardo Quintana, Dylan Quito, Tori Lozano, and Joe Armanderes to their respective one year term. With with that, we will proceed with the meeting. I would like to call the order the meeting of the Fontana Planning Commission. Madam Clerk, can you please call for attendance?

Let us pray. Heavenly father, we thank you for an amazing 2025, Lord, and, here we are in 2026. First planning commission meeting, Lord, and we thank you, Lord, for this opportunity we have. There's a lot going on in Fontana, Lord, this year. And, Lord, so we wanna pray.
We wanna lift all these things up to you, father. Lord, we just pray that your favor continue his favor to be with our leaders. Father, our groups, our our homeowners, Lord, our police department, fire department, and as our planning commission gathers, may you continue to give them wisdom, Lord, our leaders wisdom, father, to continue to make right choices for right living in this great city. Father, we're gonna see a lot of changes this year, a lot of demolition, Lord, but we're looking forward to, the forge project in the inner city and all the other great things that you're doing through, our leaders through this planning commission and and, Lord, through the city of Fontana and the people, Lord. We ask for your hands of blessing, Lord, and mercy to be upon us, Lord, and that you would continue to, find favor upon the city of Fontana.

Thank you. Thank you for your patience. This, item before you is for the ProLogistix Industrial Commerce Center project. The applicant is Prologix. I'm presenting the project on behalf of Alex Alejandro Rico, and the project site is located at 14970 Jurupa Avenue.
Before you is the review a design review of a development of an industrial commerce center building with a total square footage of about 492,000 square feet along with associated site improvements on the site that's comprised of about 22 acres. I apologize. I can't click. Oh, there we go. Sorry.
So the project site is north on Haripa Avenue between Live Oak Avenue and Hemlock Avenue. It's about 22 acres. It's currently occupied by Brown Strouse Steel, who is a storage inventory business of steel products. They have steel beams and other structural steel products. Here is a photo of Harupa Avenue looking north.
This is what the project site currently looks like right now. Here is the project site looking on Live Oak looking east. Before you is the review of a design review for a building of approximately 492,000 square feet. The building will be located along the south portion of the site with a landscape buffer, all along the south, west, as well as the east. The loading docks will be located to the north where there's a separate driveways for trucks, and then the driveways to the south on both Live Oak and Hemlock, there's, they're they're for the smaller passenger cars.
The design is a modern design, help incorporate white colors, gray colors, and then dark green accents. The applicant provided glazed windows, reveals, and metal canopies along with cornices and varied heights and different pop outs along the different facades.
