Welcome to the special session of Farmers Branch on Thursday, September 17th. Our first activity of the evening will be a general tip. No one has asked me to speak. I am the director of the city and we have been on this journey since February.

And since then, we have been working on our strategy. Eight budget, our budget town hall, the update of the end of the year, and recently, on the 15th, we have adopted our budget. And tonight is the last stage of the process of adopting the entire budget, where tonight we will adopt a budget-related plan. And it is a little strange that the state demands a process of operation, because we have adopted the budget, After the budget, we apply for a loan, but this is the only process required by the state of Texas. So before we start, I would like to take a moment to accept that the budget for the 300 projects that we have applied for was not made by a single person. This was a co-operative effort and I am very fortunate that I am working for a city whose leadership is amazing, which starts with you. You all set the direction and priorities and ultimately this was the basis on which we started our journey. The priorities reached the bottom through our city management team.
