All right. Thank you so much citizens of Douglas County for your patience. Uh thank you board of commissioners for engaging in our uh executive session. At this time board of commissioners, do we have a motion to come out of executive session? So moved. Second.
We have a motion and a second on the floor. Any discussion? We have a motion and second. Please prepare to cast your votes. Motion carries. 50.
We have a 50 unanimous vote in the motion carries. All right. For commissioners, uh, do we have any more comments or remarks that need to be made? And I know our county attorney is here, but she's she's here, but she's but she's here. If we have any questions, any more comments or remarks, board of commissioners? Madam Chair, I'd like to make a motion if you'd entertain it. Sure. Go for the motion. Madam Chair, I'd like to make a motion to remove um the lease for the museum from tomorrow's agenda as discussed in executive session. Okay. Second.
We have a motion in a second. Any discussion board? We have a motion. Is this going to be electronic or hand? Okay. We have a motion in a second. If there's no discussion, a motion and second. All in favor of removing the museum off the agenda for tomorrow, please indicate by raising your right hand. All opposed to removal, please indicate by raising your right hand. We have a 3-2 vote and the motion carries. The motion fails. The motion fails. I'm sorry. Motion fails. So, I need to call a new motion, right? No, you can call the motion to adjurnn.
Okay. Anything else that need to come before the board? Madam Chair, I do have a just a comment. I think it's very unfortunate that our board of commissioners is willing to overlook um misfence and mal fecence, negligence of duties and not making sure that there is appropriate records keeping on behalf of a nonprofit that is not owned by the board of commissioners. Um, I think that once we know that there has been poor records keeping, once we know that there has been malpractice and malfeence and that an entity has been negligence in their due negligent in their duties, we have a responsibility to act specifically as stewards of public funds and public facilities. Um, and I hope that it works out for all of those who voted um to allow an entity to continue to operate in a way that is absolutely less than legal. Madam Chair, yield back.
Okay. Thank you so much, Commissioner Kenner Jones. All right. Any other remarks? Um, Vice Chair Alarez, you have the floor. Yes. Thank you, Madam Chair. No, it you know, we haven't voted on this yet. It's become for tomorrow, but you know, I think just collectively those who want it to remain on the agenda for that to be discussed in public with people here. Um, as we come out of executive session, there's no one here. Um, and we they they gave their time this morning and we at least want to give them the decency to tomorrow to be here. So, if anything needs to be discussed, but it's not been voted on yet and I yield back, Madam Chair. Okay. All right. Any other discussion? Okay. Do we have a motion to adjurnn?
So, move. Oh, it's already Okay. Please prepare to cast your votes to to adjourn. Motion carries. 5. We have a 50 unanimous vote and the motion carries to adjourn. Thank you. We'll see you all tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock for our legislative voting meeting. This meeting is a journal.
