emergency meeting to order. And at this time, I'll have Joel Fleman read the resolution for the Columbia County Fireb. Okay. County Ford Emergency Resolution number 2026R- What's the next resolution number?

0:27 – 1:43Speaker 1

We'll get it filled in. This is a true emergency. We're act. We're going quick. A resolution declaring a state of local emergency and deflate the temporary ban on outdoor burning devices, other lawful outdoor burning, and prohibition of the use of flares, explosives, and sparklers. And uh gentlemen, what we've got here is a temporary burn ban in the in the strictest sense of the word. Uh we've included some language that was requested by Florida Forester Service. Um, we essentially don't want people doing anything that has a high propensity of causing brush fires. As our firefighters have indicated to us, we've had more of those than we like to talk about. Right now, we're covering a lot of things in the area. The drought conditions, uh, most of our surrounding counties have already done bans like tips and have had those banned in place for a few weeks now. The drought conditions are not improved. This will get reviewed every 10 days or so, pretty much at the staff level in concert with forestry. If there's a consensus that uh something needs to change or that the ban needs to be lifted, it'll be brought to our attention. In the meantime, we'll extend it as necessary, probably have it on the consent agenda at regular board meetings going forward until hopefully conditions improve and we're not under the same condition. Um is there anything that Fort wanted to add to that? I think I hit it.
