uh this is a yearly renewal we have with active controls on the maintenance for our security electronics the total cost is eighty nine thousand nine hundred seventy five dollars and thirty nine cents and that includes a thirty eight thousand dollar uh subcontract with design supply that's provided for by uh anchor controls uh we have this in our budget does that make it easier for you

All right, this is the first renewal with Trinity Services Group and they proposed a 3.4% increase. And Chef Wheeler said he's okay with that.

This is a second renewal with Kohl Wholesale. They proposed pricing with some products increasing and some decreasing. The average increase was about 3% and totes.

So bids were open Friday, July 31st, DD Dozing, Red Low. There were a total of four bids. And this project involves excavating the erosion control mat of an overflow channel for Pipperson Creek to help during heavy rain events. This project has the recommendations from the ARPA stormwater study area. The low bid was $174,439.80. The engineer's estimate was $135,960. And Public Works does recommend awarding this bid. You're supposed to come in below. This was a concern.

That's the same one attached with the spelled improvements on it. Say it. Can we approve it? Spelled improvements from where? On the contract. That's not a signature page, so we can... Should we table it? Should we table it?

I think it shows that someone's been going through the learning center instead of the learning center.

Approval of signing of Zimmer contract. Did you go over this one?

So we currently have a contract with them. We're doing really good. We are right now one full-time employee away from being at full staff in the jail. But we'll still take three people. If we can get three more people to hire, I'll overhire just because. to make sure that we have enough velocity of the year the total cost is going to be 8 712 this will be from august 10th to november 1st we would use our contingency money for this to be able to do to continue this and this is for radio ads okay good

Yes, I'm good. Sheriff Matt talked about this. He's had some success in filling these positions and he's attributing that success in part to the Zimmer.

So I think it's threefold. I think it's our office. I think it's our Facebook, which Zimmer helps with. And I think it's the radio ads. I think it's the outgoing that we're doing. Some of the recent uh things we've done with the sheriff's department as far as letting our if you bring somebody into the department we give them eight hours administrative leave and they get some money and then at the end of the year they get we throw another card in and that seems to be pretty popular so um I think it's threefold on how this is working but it's working and I don't want to stop the momentum okay all right good make a motion to approve and sign thank you second

approval and signing of change order number one the 2026 asphalt overlay program so this change order is with jefferson asphalt company and originally the village of wardsville was going to overlay the main streets and deerhead in the state subdivision after the bids were open it was decided they had all of the side streets in this area Funding for this change order will come from the villages and allotment of the sales tax funds and overall this change order is an increase of $69,837.60. It was originally higher than that. I reworked some numbers and I did not get to send you this updated one based on what I sent you the other day, Jeff, in case you're following the numbers.

They weren't tight. But I did see that they were working on that project and we had this coming through. So I didn't know if that was a Warnville choice to go ahead and do the rest of it. Correct. Once we received the bids.

Yeah. Once we received bids, they were a little worried about funding for doing the whole subdivision. Once we got the bids, then they had enough. They could do everything. Okay.

Discussion and approval of tax levy recruitment rates.

So I've sent a couple emails regarding the recruitment rates for the county that we could obtain. This was due to the dead net issues that happened last year and that the rates were certified before the fixed valuations were available to us. It looks like for the general revenue, we're not able to get a recruitment rate, but for the road and bridge, we're able to get a .0001. And this could give us an additional $1,777 in revenue. And it increases our ceiling by the 0.0001. I do recommend that we take the recoupment rate. And I've been working with Chloe in the clerk's office. And hopefully between the two of us, she's there, we can answer any questions that you guys have. And I do have a form that we'll need to sign and we'll have to send it to get the recoupment rate approved.

I'll follow that. I was afraid to get down in that rabbit hole because it's so hard to figure out.
