That's it. Yeah, I've got all that. 9.30 tomorrow morning, right in the corner, if for a chance it rains, but it's not going to rain, we would be moving to the Undercroft at the St. Joseph Cathedral. But we're not going to call off. We really want to have it out here in front of our statue. Tomorrow evening, there's a Cole County building codes meeting. From 4 to 6 p.m. at Monticello with the fire, whatever that meeting room is there. Friday morning, I've got a Navy League meeting at 11. Got the Skyfest in Taos. Sunday, Lowman is having their 250th festival. They have barbecue, car show. And we're dedicating their Liberty Tree at 6 p.m. And then they will have fireworks. So come out Saturday night to Taos and Sunday to Lowman. Weather's going to be wonderful. That's all I've got. Any commission comments?

okay bids and contracts approval and signing of student insurance renewal with hpso morning good morning so this is the renewal of our student insurance policy for the emt students and their clinical rotations um we did have an update this year just due to the amount of students we're generally processing about 20 emt students per class and then we have a few first responder students as well so total cost for this year is one thousand one hundred and twenty dollars and that's for 70 students i have an answer request

Maybe it's too soon to ask this question, Chief, but have earlier students become employees?

Yeah, I think somewhere in the realm of about 10 to 15 students from the two previous classes are now employed in our organization, one way or another.

all in favor aye thank you uh approval of battery replacement proposal with outdoor warning consultants llc yeah so this went through the uh sole source process uh we did not include the quote in that so i'm just asking for you to approve that today this is to replace the outdoor warning siren batteries that are out of date it's 14 in total This will be a reimbursable grant from the state. So we need to expend the funds and then they will reimburse us. Total cost is $12,670.

And this is not the siren that's been struck by lightning?

No, this is a battery replacement, and for the siren that was struck by lightning, we're still working through the insurance process.

Thank you. Thank you, sir. Thank you. This is a request for surplus on doing a tax on 24. that closed in 25 by Chris Powers, he's an attorney at Lee's Summit representing Sheldon Gentry Incorporated. The overage was about $13,000, a little over $13,000. What I asked him for was a copy of his engagement letter from Sheldon Gentry Incorporated. and then proof of ownership and the necessary information to grant the request and also i tried to contact clayton gentry who i think is a surviving officer in the art in the business i never got a response from him i just want to make sure this was legitimate and all because we get a lot of people requesting those overages. But I never did get a response from him. Mr. Power did send me his engagement letter with Sheldon Gentry Incorporated. He redacted most everything in it. But other than that, it appears that it does meet all the requirements to collect the surplus. So it would need the commission's approval in order for the treasurer to issue a check to the collector to issue a check to showing gentry and carpet.

So all this black is the yes. Okay. So maybe that's really bad photos or something.

Have you ever had an instance like this before?

No.

We probably get 50 requests a year for people wanting to know what the surplus is. And there is a cottage industry out there where they contact the people that are due the surplus and say, we'll help you get it for a percentage. Shelton Country Incorporated could have come directly to us and made the request. would not have an attorney speak.

Obviously that's not what happened in this case.

Interesting. I guess if there's anything wrong with this, the attorney would be the one that has to Bear the consequences, I would certainly hope so.

Obviously, we'll issue the check in the name of sheltering incorporated. I don't know if he has the ability to cash that.

Thank you. This is the adjusted GEMT cost report for 25-26. Fortunately, it was adjusted downward for the Fee-for-service portion of this will need to transfer $42,553.42 to Missouri GMT, and we will receive $123. dollars 123 1706 back um this is a an adjustment down there were about 200 transports for service that were shifted into the other bucket if you'll remember earlier this year we received about uh we're in the process of receiving about a million dollars uh through the managed care portion when they did the audit they discovered that about 200 of those transports were in the managed care bucket and that's why this number was adjusted down so This is correct. It has been audited. These are the final numbers. I know in previous years we've had some adjustments because the audits were done after the representation letters were signed. But they've changed that process and this is the final piece of it. After we sign this today, I will work with the auditor to get that $42,000 in change IGT sent over so we can receive our recruitment. Happy to answer your questions.
