This is our FIG grant that runs through November of 2027. This amendment is just shifting a lot of those funds into personnel and fringe to ease our budget process. It's going to fund two of our positions that we have in the health department. It's about $150,000 that we're moving in those lines.

Bobby Staff report. This is on the outer areas above the vestibules and the two front vestibules, the sheriff's and the court's area, and then one on the back. The old roofing has been peeling up. and rolled up so water is allowed to get through there. So they're going to go back in and do the double layers and the stone application, same as what they're doing on that roof across the rest of the complex.

Yeah, these are the pins that the voters use at the polling locations. They have the stylus on the end so they can use on a tablet. They can take them with them if they want. We have 13 companies. We went with Tree Top because they actually sent a couple samples, and they are a Missouri company.

Good afternoon. This is one of the larger tax sale parcels from last year. Mr. Molson has refinanced the home. I'm hopeful that it has an escrow account now so we can avoid this in the future. But we did receive a check from the title company and the amount needed to complete the redemption and simply asking that you all approve the dispersal of the surplus funds. Thank you, Mr. Molson.

Good afternoon again. Chris Mullen, Doral-Castle County Collector of Revenue. A couple of items you're probably going to be interested in. We are just a few weeks away from the annual tax sale. We're down to 135 properties tomorrow. will be the first publication in the Tribune and Times of these properties to comply with the law. The second publication will be next Thursday, a week from tomorrow, and then the third one a week following that. Signage will be placed in these yards on the sixth and seventh of August, alerting them of their right to redeem And in fact, it's the 14th Amendment. We have to have due process. So we will have signage placed in those yards August 6th and 7th before the sale on the 24th. The other thing to let folks know, we are turning off CassCountyCollector.com and our old-fashioned 1980s green screens Friday afternoon, July 31st. There will be disruption to taxpayers for an hour or two as we move to the new server, as we move to the new host company, and then as staff moves to a new payment processing portal. We're taking the entire tax program to the cloud so we can manage it. Folks can work remotely. Taxpayers are going to have a whole menu of services we will roll out over the next few years to make their experience faster. easier so full warning if you get some calls there will be some disruption on the 31st of July we are migrating to a new host we're migrating to a new software program conference call today two o'clock to work through some of those bugs we have additional training for staff next week but as with any big change there will be some bugs and I would encourage folks to let me know if they run into any issues. We can certainly speak to the programmers, but we're trying desperately to get us into 2026. And I believe this will be a huge step. And then we'll have self-serve merchant licenses for our business community. We'll have instantaneous tax receipts for those folks standing outside License Bureau. We will have things, it'll be a lot friendlier in terms of customer service and obviously easier for our staff and faster for our staff to process. So those are two things of interest, I think, for the general public and for you as well.
