So I will say that the roofing bids that we received, I think there was six or eight of them, uh the projected cost is 1.6 million, but Delta came in at 1.4 million, so uh it's actually a little cheaper on the new roof out at the Justice Center. They're going to be starting here in the next few weeks, and finish up later this summer. So Pleasant surprise for a change. Something I didn't doubt. Any other questions? All in favor? Resolution 26-41 Cass County Sheriff's Office affirming the county's commitment to public safety, including a commitment to reduce violent crime within the county as part of the state's Blue Shield program. Resolution 2642 Cass County Sheriff's Office authorizing an application for an acceptance of funding through the SYF 2027 Deputy Sheriff Salary Supplemental Fund. I need a motion. So moved. Second. Sheriff's report? Uh this is a uh funding for supplemental salary uh through the state. Uh the fees are collected through civil process fees statewide and the fund uh allows us to bring some money back to certain deputies at certain pay levels. Any questions? No. Good program. All in
favor? Three votes for, zero against. Resolution 2642 passes. Resolution 2643 Cass County Commission approving a cost share participation with the City of Strasburg for an outdoor warning siren repair and or replacement project. I need a motion. So moved.
Second. So the City of Strasburg contacted us. Their tornado siren that's located next to the school over here that wasn't working anymore, so they didn't have the funds to do that, so the county agreed to cost share program with them. It is up and working now, so this is authorizes us to pay our portion of it which is about $2,500 I believe. Any questions? No. All in favor? Three votes for, zero against. 2643 passes. Cass County Codes and Zoning Department application 3182 of lot splitting and rezoning of a parent tract of 21.33 plus or minus acres commonly known as lot 10 of Deer Creek Estates, Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080. I need a motion. So moved. Second. Valerie, staff report, please. This was heard There was one person that spoke up that had questions in regards to the road maintenance cuz it is a private road. County does not maintain that road. Turnaround for fire and layouts of the lots were the question. Ultimately, the board motioned to approve or recommend approval of the application 6-0. There was one neighbor to the south that has questions regards to lagoon locations and road locations. This is a preliminary plat. They did indicate where they may put their fields and they are they do understand that septic will have to meet current rules and regulations regardless and that it was only for the potential split and rezoning of the tracks, not any location of any house or sewer, septic, any of that on the property. They will have to come back for a final plat approval. Okay. Board recommended approval 6 to 0. Okay. Thank you, Valerie.
