Speaking times will be determined by the total number of public comment cards and callers in the queue at the start of each public comment period. For 1-20 total speakers, each speaker will receive up to 3 minutes. For 21-39 total speakers, each speaker will receive up to 2 minutes. and for 40 plus total speakers, each speaker will receive up to one minute. Welcome and good evening. Welcome to a joint meeting of the Burbank City Council with the Housing Authority on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Before we begin, I would like to note that Vice Mayor Mullins is dealing with a temporary medical situation and will be absent from tonight's meeting. We wish her a speedy recovery. Mr. City Attorney, will you please state the items on the agenda for closed session?

Yes, Madam Mayor, members of the City Council, and for the benefit of the public, the City Council is meeting at 5.30 this evening to discuss one item in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9d1. That is a matter of existing litigation in the case of Maureen Bazanian v. City of Burbank. It's a civil rights case.

Okay, good. Thank you. There being no public comment, I now declare the public comment period closed. We will now proceed to the closed session meeting. The regular session of the council meeting will begin at 6.
