Boston School Committee - Regular Meeting

The Boston School Committee approved the minutes from the March 25 meeting, the superintendent's report, and a statement of interest for the Melvin H. King South End Academy to the Massachusetts School Building Authority. They also approved several grants totaling over $478,000 and an in-kind donation of $1,500. The committee heard presentations on the updated Opportunity and Achievement Gap policy and the district's strategic roadmap, and discussed applications from two private schools, Alpha School and Douglas Ridley School.
